Today we're looking at a Japanese Type 26 revolver and holster. These guns were generally made between 1893 and 1923, with many being refurbished by Japanese arsenals over their long service life. They saw service wherever Japanese troops served, and were encountered by US troops in the South Pacific. Chambered for a unique 9x22R cartridge which was about as powerful as a 32 ACP, these were robust break top guns holding six rounds. Well built and well finished, today they're a prized item for the collector of Japanese handguns.
