Just to remind you Scholarships are not bought they are earned by the people who deserve. It means that she deserves to be there. It has nothing to do with privilege. Not everybody can get accepted to Oxford even when you have all the money in the world. Instead of disrespecting her opinion actually you should listen to her more than anybody else as she is part of the posterity of England. She is not in Oxford because of her parents I believe you're kind of confused. Instead of using her educational status as an argument you should be listening what she has to say even more than any other guest. What people often forget to mention is the Prince’s trust and the impact that it has had on people’s lives. Charles set it up with his own money and he had dedicated his life to it. Pretty much every single head of state comes from a privileged family. What’s crazy is that people hold Harry up as some beacon for the common folk. He’s greedy, entitled and lives in immense privilege. Something he has no intention of giving up. He has simply swapped his palace for a mansion.

in 2019 the average tax payer contributed £1.24 to the royal family for that entire year which totalled around £67 million. it has increased in recent years with weddings, funerals, coronations etc, but in that same timeframe the royal family contributed around £2.5 billion to the economy with tourism. people travel from all over the world to see them and as far as i am concerned, like it or not we get a pretty good deal out of having them. if it was not for the 2.5 billion they contribute, you can be damn sure that your taxes would rise by more than £1.24 a year to cover the black hole we would have if the royal family suddenly disappeared and in my view THAT is what people often forget and doesnt even consider the princes trust

They master in word salad, not answers. They don’t use critical thinking, they group think. I don’t listen to these young activists because they do it more for the attention than anything else. Her photo was to gain attention from the shock value it created. How does that make any positive changes to the world? It doesn’t. Universities are more about indoctrination rather than education and that includes Ivy League. It’s the same in Canada and the US. This is the type of young adults these universities are churning out. Time to kick the woke trash being fed to them out of the schools.

I fail to see how she was disrespectful, whether or not I agreed with her. I am beginning to suspect from many of the comments that some people still think young women are 'above themselves' if they express their own opinions.

I agree. As much as I don't like the Royal Family, apart from a bit of virtue signalling, they generally keep themselves to themselves and generate huge amount of Tourist revenue each year. Also, they hardly have any political power. If Ms Smarty Pants were in power, there would be no free speech. You would be forced to eat vegan food, believe in a million different genders, everything would be censored or cancelled in case it offends people and we would have to live in a cave due to climate change. The sad thing is we're heading towards a liberal totalitarian state, very similar to Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four book.
