I heard some comments about temperatures reaching 40°c. Was this in the rural areas or the cities? Some years ago, i was in London. I saw the tarmac melting on the roads. This was actually caused because the sun rays were being magnified because of the amount of glass structures. I was a civil engineer at the time. None of this was because of climate change it was caused because of the design of buildings made up mostly of glass. The temperatures on earth have always fluctuated. Global warming! Blame this on human activity. This is just another way of STEALTH TAXATION. Was it mankind who caused the melting of all the ICE AGES the world has experienced? The UK, millions of years ago, had tropical forests. Over time, with the build-up erosion and soil build-up, those troplical forests became compressed deep beneath the earths surface up to a mile deep and became COAL. People need to stop listening to these idiotic people who think they know everything. Then, we have those oil protesters. How many have mobile phones? How many wear shoes? How many by items in plastic containers do these people buy? How did they travel to the protests? I could go on & on. Behind just those few points, OIL was used in the manufacturing of those products. So what the BLOODY HELL are they protesting about when they themselves don't boycott all products that depend on oil production?

Look at their eyes. They are sociopaths. They dont feel any empathy for dying people, they only need reason to express their anger.

Im 23 years old, and my generation feels like a double-edged sword. I've met a lot of people with strong goals and desires, and are doing very well in life. And I've, unfortunately, known a few who fell off the tracks, and ended up like these folks in the video.

If you get your camera out and start filming a building, someone will come out and say “why are you filming my building” and then they will say “I’m calling the police”. Shortly after, the police will arrive and threaten to arrest the person under the terror legislation. The police are thugs. The trouble is, this is highly televised so the thug, imbecile apes that join the police force have to be careful what they do or it’s a civil claim on a group of people running into tens of thousands of pounds of their budget.

Climate alarmism is unfounded. Piers is right about the food production actually going up. There were news reports that predicted mass famines in the 70s and many more predictions which never came true. Climate is a complex problem and we need more robust climate models. I am not denying climate change, just hoping we can be more science oriented towards it.

Tell that to the 20million people starving in the horn of Africa right now. Tell that to Pakistan and India which have collectively seen rice and wheat shortages this year and the last. Tell that to China, which has seen around 4 major cities inundated by flash floods, or Spain, which has lost most of its agricultural capacity because of extreme heat and drought, such that it declared a climate emergency a few months ago. Tell that to the bushfire raging right now in Australia, to the fires that have been burning and continue to burn in siberia and Canada, to the thousands that are now homeless or perished in maui wildfires, to the people in greece who had their communities swept away in yes more wilfire, to the die- back of the amazon in South America, to the heat dome that's displaced winter in South America these past few months. You can say it's unfounded and I'll say you've clearly never even read an ipcc report. Unsurprising, since you watch this sort of news.

@OP: Actually, it's not just more science orientation we need, but more scientific and intellectual honesty, integrity, consistency, and most importantly, impartiality. Because at this point, money and politics have corrupted science to the point that the only way you can trust it is if you examine the opposition claims.
