Maria is a 200 RYT Yoga and Meditation teacher in New York City with over 500 hours of study. Maria comes from a long past of movement and sports, and digs the occasional training commitment to a half or full marathon.

    I do love this figure four and inner thigh stretching!!! Yes, since I started to do yoga (especially to ease my lower back, hips, and hamstring pains), I have been really happily running. Thanks so much for sharing.

    You just made my hips happier :) I am also going to try the entire leg routine from Maria's channel :) Are you possibly planning to make some 'yoga for runners' series? I don't know how others but I think that it would be great.

    @@YogawithMaria I cannot wait!!! There are yoga classes for runners in my area but unfortunately only on Saturday mornings when I like to do my long runs :( It will be great to can have a good 'yoga for runners' session whenever I need to :) Thank you! :)

    Arin McCarthy try to make a bridge with your hands and feet on the ground for 2 minutes after every run, you can do planks practically anywhere

    Whatsgoinon people, would you have anybody any workaround for fixaturing hips, like it should not be tilting while running, Anterior or posterior PELVIC TILT ? Just on a treadmill I realized that I have to push back my hips with one hand for a better posture. Would there be any other solution?

    Definitely! And you can try out some of the modifications Maria demonstrates such as holding onto a chair or doing a pose lying down instead of standing up if you're finding them too difficult to start

    haha - I know right?! Sometimes stretching is uncomfortable (btw if you ever feel pain, take the stretch down a notch), but so good for our bodies and recovery! Glad you're sticking with it! Thanks for checking it out! If you want more, I've got some more goodies over on my channel too!
