I was watching this while running a 10k 😂
How did you go?
Have pain outside the knee just below the knee mid point
Could be a LCL issue? Hard to say without more information
@TheRunExperience they took MRI it came out as grade 1 chondromallecia patella and I did physio for 4months.however this pain seems to come back if I do anything other than leg extensions or curls for leg strengthening.especially squats(even sitting on chair and getting up continuously) and lunges etc trigger this outside pain.physio here is of no help😐
Thank you for the amazing advice!!!!I hope soon to get back on track!!!!It was really helpful! Thanks😮
I wish Nate and Holly were still on the TRE channel and TRE app. You guys are the best
Every morning I have to sprint 1/2 a mile, what would you recommend doing, I run with about 30 other people. Are there any breathing patterns that would work great or exercises that I can do to run better. I start when I am at a complete stop then run as fast as I can.
This dude is a unit !

Hi! Thanks for making TRE app to help runners. I was looking to do some preventative ankle and knee strengthening exercises, so I downloaded the app. However, all of the injury related / muscle strengthening programs (honestly, MOST of the programs) are hidden behind a paywall. I'm not really inclined to pay $20 a month for a program unless it proves itself to me. I'd recommend providing more options for a "teaser" program, especially related to injury prevention/leg strengthening. The only free ones are the mental training guide and the "first 3 runs" challenge, but they don't feel as relevant for what I'm looking for. I'm removing the app for now because it doesn't meet my needs, but hope this feedback helps!
She speeding through so fast I can't keep up.
It’s funny you said to not test them all out on the next run haha that’s the first thing I wanted to do! Just try them all out right away haha thanks for the tips!
I have nose deviiance
This was helpful, thanks
I suggest 2 half breath in mouth 2steps then 2out mouth Every two steps. to start until you get skilled enough to be able to go in your nose Pls pin and give me ur opinion it’s just works for me 😊❤
Congratulations, all!🎊✌🏼
congratulations coach
20’sec was it for me
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Congrats!
Congratulations! One of life’s most memorable achievements… Right on Hereford, left on Boylston. 👍
Not my best Boston, but I still had a blast! Congrats!
I have to cut an entire hour, not likely happening. Must be cool to be you.
Very cool! I hope to run Boston at some point. I just need to cut half an hour off my marathon pb 😭
This has been so helpful, thank you! I’m neuromuscular, now I know how to try and tackle it..
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I don't need more tools in my toolbox when I'm running. I have enough to carry with my own weight as it is...
Only able to do this on one leg. The other is painful and shakes when I try to squat on it?
Mine came out of nowhere. Never had pain in my shins before. Now im 4 months in and only had a modest improvement. No running, doing rehab exercises. Well long walks and the turning of walking at home seems to be enough to trigger it 🥲🥲 Good luck to all. And good advise. Have you heard of compression socks?
Ohhhhh🙆🏽♀️ thank you soooooooooo much... I really thought I'd never make it back to track. Such a detailed explanation of the cause and remedies👍🏽
The way the dog passed you with the sound of a jet plane means I want him to tell me how to run and breathe.
The trainers supported other athletics with tips for running how to work on techniques better, and how to run well basic of the video by someone trying to teach all of the athletics.
i havent run in 10 years. i held for 25 seconds. what's that mean given i'm 5'6" at 239lbs and horrendously out of shape?
Great exercises, also worth noting how beneficial transitioning to minimalist/barefoot shoes are in strengthening the intrinsic foot muscles.
Very true!
That’s a burpee warm up for a burpee mile. But that’s not the burpee mile
My nose blocked :(
Sorry to hear
Damn why does it hurt so bad? Seems like an unreasonable amount of pain I mean come on!
“I watched these videos and upped my running game.” “UP YOURS!”
I hope this helps, Im absolutely addicted to running/walking try to do 8-10 miles a day and get so anxious if I can't. and right now I can't w/o significant pain
That knife was not hot... ijs🤷🏿♂️
Thanks for feedback- I’ll pass on to the editing department
Wait... we're all being sarcastic here right?😬
sorry but this tips are a joke. that are tips what everybody here on youtube say. th slow running is not true
Was running on some wet grass one time full speed & I slipped & rolled my left ankle full weight it was prolly one of the most painful yet best pain I had ever felt ever 😭🤣
EXHALE IN MOUTH? WHEN TO EXHALE ON MOUTH OR NOSE?
That girl would be way faster if she had a wang, it’s all the rage now!

Thank you for showing us how to actually do these (it took a Kiwi!). Can you also make a video on how to prevent injury while doing strides, as these tend to put load on your hamstring. I blew my hamstring a couple of weeks ago attempting strides and now my August/September running events don't look like they will happen. So yes, a video on injury prevention with strides please!
Here is one we did earlier on a proper warm up kzread.info/dash/bejne/hmWdsJSAl9iegJc.htmlsi=4LlAqn2lETwoIodI
@TheRunExperience Thanks, will check it out.
How many sets of strides should one do?
Start with just 3-4 reps. So only 1 set to start with. Then progress if needed.
15 sec's i don't run but i want to, quit smoking a year ago
Fantastic video! Strides were always confusing to me lol
Thanks
Coach Liz that was a rollercoaster ride! I hope that telling that story in such detail was cathartic for you! Stay strong and overcome, love the channel and your work.
Thank you so much for your support and positivity! Things are definitely on the up and up!
