Happy to hear that, Stacey. While I don't know the injury you had, I have a few videos on my channel specifically for shoulder pain relief. Check out "Yoga for Shoulder and Neck Tension" on my channel, too.

This is such a lovely pose, I especially like the bolster against my hips and back. Still nursing this flu, I can't wait to put these poses together and spend a good hour or two practicing. Thanks Caren, much love 💜🧘‍♀️💜🧘‍♀️

@@carenhope thanks Caren, the downside is when I'm better, I've got to clean. Especially the bedroom and because of my back that takes me a while. I might treat myself to a restorative Christmas day practice. Thank you so much for putting these 12 days of restorative postures together, I've managed to do some and they've definitely made this flu a bit easier to handle. It seems to have moved into my head, throat and ears which, I can't stand but it's better than aching all over and having no energy! xx

I have a lot of neck and shoulder tension usually, but it is not bothering me so much today. Glad I have something to refer back to. I have a couple of sandbags. Would you recommend draping one on the top shoulder to get a deeper twist?

  • @carenhope

Without knowing your posture or what the tension may be from, I can’t give any personal recommendations here. 💜 But I do enjoy sandbags and they can be helpful to encourage relaxation.

This pose can be more invigorating. Try adding more support next time under your arm or head to make sure there’s not a big stretch happening.
