I take a piece of thin card board , like that from a cereal box and make a V from it and slide it up under the loosened oil filter and that has a container under it , take the filter off and let the oil run down the V of the cardboard and into the container. It also works great when changing the oil on my ride on lawn mower. Just helps to direct the old engine oil to where you want it to go.

The hand tight and a 1/8 turn varys, due the the crush washer being reused it gets more and more flat and in that process it looses its ability to cushion the same making a worn out crush washer get tighter much much faster then a new one just and also increases the chances of cracking the block from over-tightening just a FYI

Do you check level by screwing in dip stick or just placing it ?

I've heard both. Personally I dip without turning it in.

Just dip. Instruction explicitly states don’t screw when checking level.

The most dirty Rhino i have seen in all my life, please wash it-clean it use antirust spray.
