Just use yamelube oil. I have a 2006 rhino and seemed to have some slippage with other oils not speced for a wet clutch. Went back to speced oil and slippage stopped.

Used oil filters are one of the most irritating aspects of engine work. Not only do they seem to leap out into the space where you're about to step, but no matter how much you drain them, they continue keep on giving a dribble of oil that always finds the one pin hole in the garbage sack!

Andrew Burton they are annoying, I usually let them sit in the drain of my oil barrel until the next change ,it cuts the mess a good bit but yes brand new trash bag, even double aged they still leak...same with a container of used oil,air tight and secure sure enough by the time I get to the recycling place it has left a stain in the back of my truck

Shouldn't it be a wet clutch type of oil?

it depends on the oil, specifically this machine has a wet clutch, however I am using a non energy conserving oil. that is the main difference between automotive and power sport oil, a friction additive . The friction additive is the problem with wet clutches, as long as you use non energy conserving oil it will be fine.

Check your fuel pump and filter sounds like you are running the carb bowl dry, I have had the same problem. Try changing the filter or even check the needle and seat for debris.

You are running a 660 about a 2006 with a stock fuel pump? when this happens it is hot outside? when I say hot, over 77 F. Your fuel pump or line has a vapor lock. Pour water on it and it will go for a while. I installed a electric low flow fuel pump that engages when the starter is hit. that always got me going. I am in the process of installing a electric fuel pump to replace the vaccuum pump. running full time. I will post a video in a day or so. on rhino Rider channel.
