There are three fairly good videos on the subject of a Rhino oil change. One video says the drain plug is 17mm…another says it is 19mm, and the third specifies 21mm.

You should do a video on changing the spark plug ?

I’ve had this Yamaha rhino for two months. Haven’t checked the oil once one day I thought hey I should probably check the oil and I haven’t checked it since I bought it. I’ve ran the wheels off of this thing between now and then and when I went to check the oil, it had none in it, and it still starts up on the first crank putting more oil in it right now to see where the heck all the oil is going

It's a Yamaha, it's fine. 😂 But seriously, get that thing toped off ASAP, and do an oil change as soon as you get a chance! Might as well take a look at your air filter too! -Charles

What's the filter part # ?...and is there any alternate cross referenced oil filters that fit?

Filter is a 303. 303c works too. Just means it's chrome instead of black. Same size.

I’m looking at getting a used 07 Yamaha rhino but the guy replaced water pump belt and wheel bearings should I be worried or at 4K is it a good buy

They Kodiak and Rhino use different part numbers for transmission components and crankcases so it looks like they do not use the same setup.

For piece of mind that the get oil pressure comes up immediately I always prime the oil filter.

Well on this machine with the way the engine is set up and the position of the oil filter, priming the oil filter is just going to make the job that much more messy when installing. ☺ I do agree with priming the oil filter when the motor position permits you to. Very good habit to get into.

Rhino??? my filter is in the rear and has a starter in that ones spot.

It would not have been much effort to tell what # size filter. That's all I watched for.
