In today's video Tom covers the steps need to remove and install a new foam and cover kit for your motorcycle.
Some motorcycle seat pans have unique bends or curves to them that will require a change in technique, but the principle still applies to all seat pans.
A new seat your bike isn't just about changing the comfort you feel, but the style and performance as well.
If your bottom is aching after riding your motorcycle, a new seat is probably the solution for you. Most motorcycle manufacturers offer some form of a piece of wood wrapped in leather with an inch of foam underneath. Manufacturers have to cut costs, and this is usually a good spot to start.

Sorry bought one of the Seat Concepts kit from you guys for my DR650 and it was every bit as hard and uncomfortable as the stock seat. Seat Concepts has a sense of humor when it comes to what "Comfort Seat" means. Great seat cover though, best around, but their foam is atrocious.

I'm sorry to read to that you didn't enjoy your new seat. Give us a call and we will try to see if there's something we can do to make your ride a little less firm, haha. I will say that Seat Concepts seats do have a "break-in" period. This time frame is based on your weight, riding style, seat shape, ambient temperatures, and more. If after a while it still hasn't become more enjoyable, please contact us, and thank you for watching our videos.

@@TeamProCycle I already modified the seat foam to correct the problem. It's beyond ironic that you and I know what a "comfort seat" should feel like but a company that does nothing but make motorcycle seats for a living DOESN'T. But no matter how many complaints they get about it over the years they don't correct the problem, so they don't appear to care. It's okay I corrected the problem, but I wouldn't buy another one of their kits again for sure.
