@@monolith_g Imagine whenever they do the Onslaught saga we find up Bastion didn't die, instead got teleported to Capcom universe and fused with Akuma, adding a Cyber Akuma to the mix for maximum VS series insanity. In all seriousness, the series is doing so good that I doubt they go beyond these little nods to the games.

I think my favorite detail of this episode is when Bishop walks in on Forge and calls him "Daniel." To my knowledge, we have never gotten Forge's real name cannonized in anything but there was some note back around his debut that had his name listed as Daniel Lone Eagle. So, after literally forty years, we know Forge's name (and I find this extra funny because I'd been thinking about how we still don't know Forge's name literally two hours before watching this episode lmao) Also, Hank's "oh dear" upon realizing where/when they are was unnecessarily funny

Beast’s line was so fitting and so well timed. They have freaking killed it with lines and timing this season - both in the fun and the painful ones.

That comics series wasn't the best, but hey I own the X-Men arcade and the Avengers: Operation Galactic Storm fighting game is in it so I think it's cool lollll

Beasts "OH dear" moment right after was perfect too.

Gambit was always my favorite, so the Rogue fight was incredibly satisfying.

I definitely think Gambit will be Death and Wolverine will be War. Wolverine was Death when Apocalypse reinstated his Adamantium but there is a What If...? where he is War.

Beast's "Oh, dear!" at the end was totally a nod to Quantum Leap.

There was so much in this episode. Truly a great season finale. So stoked for next season.

I believe they time traveled because Bastion absorbs Cable's mechanical arm which has the time travel device in it. If you look at the first time Cable saw his mother and slipped back into time you can see the same "bubbles " on Asteriod M as it dissapears into time. Bastion blew up with Asteriod M and it activated it.

I think that in Bishop’s timeline, Storm, Wolverine, and Morph might have been trapped, similar to the 1992 X-Men Animated series episode "Days of Future Past." In that episode, a variant of Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton is displayed in Forge's Lab. I believe that the old variant Forge in Bishop’s timeline would bond the metal to our salvaging Wolverine, which is how I think Wolverine would get his adamantium back!

The ending gave me flashbacks nostalgia to Xmen evolution,and the story of apocalypse,and his feud with Rama tut aka kang the conqueror im calling it now kang / immortus scattered the Xmen in time.

The effect that took Asteroid M away at the end of this episode looks similar to how Immortus teleports away at the end of Beyond Good and Evil part 4, after he's revealed as being Bender all along, with the purple clouds and sparkles.

Agree would make sense as this universe isn't like the main mcu so the events of how T'chaka died in main mcu haven't happened in this one. In the ultimate avengers animated film T'chaka was killed by a Chitauri super soldier.

You do make a great point. However, I do think that we will see different versions of The Horsemen of Apocalypse, which will definitely be Gambit as Death, maybe Castillo as maybe Famine and maybe a few others that fell on Genshoa.

11:23 Back in season 1 in slave island episode (I don't remember correctly if that was the name of the episode) Aurora and his twin brother were among the mutant slaves in Genosha. Gambit played a key role in setting those slaves free. Maybe that's why Aurora joined his funeral from gratitude. Ironically it was Genosha again.

Remember that Apocalypse had Wolverine as a horseman prior to the reveal that he'd regained his adamantium bonding. It wouldn't surprise me if that is somehow worked in to a continuation.
