Im thinking Marie's sister is going to have similar powers as her, but be under Vaughts control. It would be odd for her parents to only give compound V to one child and not the other, but Marie being older means her powers displayed first. Vaught also seem to be well aware of her sister, making me think they have her somewhere

maybe that 'crown of flowers' thing they were playing at in episode 1 is foreshadowing for some kind of nature powers.

Gen V is actually giving us (in their own messed up way) actual super heroes and super villains which is something I have been secretly wanting from The Boys universe. I like this direction. I hope they follow through and really dig into some of these fights and don't just make it a big blob of blood 😂

I like that the Superheroes also turn villainous throughout the season as the plot thickens. This way we get a good back story and you’re not sure who’s going turn.

If Homelander really tried to kill Marie with a full blast and failed then he's in bigger trouble than just the 'scorched earth' arrangement he has with Billy Butcher

It's not often we get a spin off show that's actually good and not just 100 percent a cash grab this was really good for the break inbetween sessions of the boys

I love Gen V so much that I hope we see the characters in Season 4 of The Boys.

The main character Andre, played by Chance Perdomo just passed away 2 days ago hopefully he gets a good send off and tribute

I’m so glad you caught Andre’s facial tics outside his dad’s room. No one else mentioned it! That said, when he reached out for the lightsaber - I mean, stun stick - I think he was just straining, while almost dying at the same time from being choked. I don’t think those were neurological symptoms.

The natural born issue makes sense. If your parent is a supe it stands to reason that compound V might stand a chance with their children being injected with it after birth. Especially if mom was the super. Interesting that most are paternal . Homelanders son being the first natural born still works with that.

The Sam and Emma scene in the theatre was some amazing acting!!!

You can see that something happened right before the blast. Almost like Jordan put up a shield to block it, but not quick enough.

Considering storm front called Ryan the first naturally born supe, it's a safe bet all the other kids were dosed.

The powers aren't exclusive, non family/blood related people can have similar power. But being supes offspring give them higher chance to get the same power, even if they don't have any powers at birth.

Something I’m confused about is if the ppl at Vought who knew about the Woods actually knew what was happening in the woods. Like they knew mentally ill Supes were being experimented on, but not that they were working on a way to kill Supes. Such great writing. I felt legitimately angry when they were framed for it all at the end. The mcu can take a lot of lessons from the boys and invincible successes. Adult content still does numbers, only use cgi where truly needed, and give writers and artists time. Its time they grew up with their audience and shows like these are proof of that.

lol glad to hear I am not the only one that noticed Andre looked real goofy running.

I believe that Butcher will die at the hand of Homelander but when he kills him he does it up close...like a punch through his stomach or something of the sorts. When its all said and done, Butcher looks at Homelander with a painful expression but starts to grin maniaclly at Homelander. Butcher keeps smiling at him an then he tells him that he better put on the tea kettle, 'cause it looks like he'll catch a "cold". This is where we found out that Butcher had ingested the supes virus before having a battle with Homelander.

What if it was Victoria Neuman that popped the blood vein in Polarity. everyone keeps saying it was because he used his powers but remember that he was the one that was suppose to be interviewed before Neuman came on board

Gen V is awesome, I was pleasantly surprised by the cliffhanger ending. I was not shocked, Homelander of all sups came in disappointed. By Marie, and the other non-violatile sups actions. He wants sup supremacy, over anything else. The fact, Marie is still alive makes her power even greater. Who really knows, just how powerful she is. As well, as Homelander is cunning so he definitely has plans for them later on.

When Marie wakes up in the white room, the other 3 have been awake for a while. One has a phone and one has a drink. People must have been feeding them and giving them things. So it was weird they only just then noticed there is no door. They had to have seen where the food and supplies are entering the room.

Surprised there hasn't been more talk about the reverse X-Men roles. The anti-human faction being lead by the telepath, and the human protectors being (co-) lead by the metal manipulator.

The ending to this episode was nuts. Man they really beat up on Emma which makes her mentally tougher than most in my opinion. I really enjoyed this spinoff looking forward to season 2.

If you have subtitles on, you can see the glowing eyed shadowy figure that gets released from the cells in the Forrest, their name shows as 'Death'

From what we've seen so far we could assume some supes are way more resistant to Homelander's blasts than other supes (and of course humans, who are killed instantly), otherwise HL could've killed Butcher when they fought (and vicerversa), and I say some, because Butcher chopped Gunpowders head with ease, so that's proof it may depend on each supe..

Well an Easter egg you DIDN'T notice is that in episode 1, Emma says the the glass is completely indestructible, but here, the sonic scream is so loud it cracks the glass
