I was in the middle of working on an important document when my second monitor randomly shut off. I was so incredibly frustrated for an hour trying to fix it. When I began installing the software you mentioned, everything went back to normal, and I cannot express how relieved I am. Subbing to you because it's the least I can do to thank you.

Bro you are an absolute life safer. I have 3 monitors and 2 of them went dark after my computer had a forced update.

So I had my Thinkpad with w10 Connected to my TV via wifi. After a while no image but sound. Now when I try Connect to a wireless display both screens go black. If I hit W+p I can go back to laptop, but no other options work. Weird thing is that it was working and I do get sound on the tv

I tried for 3 hours to reconfigurate my second monitor (i came home and it was desconfigurated). I saw at least 10 tutorials and all said the same, the drivers. The only solution was the AMD Driver detector, while it was installing it came back to normal. You don´t know how much I thank you

Thank you so much after 3 months I was considering removing the HDMI port just a few minutes ago but uninstalling and restarting both drivers fixed it for me I am already a subscriber

Does this also apply to the safe exam browser app? It is that this app detects the hdmi cable and does not let me share screen

For me none of this worked, my graphics driver was updated already, I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, performing a roll back of the Nvidia driver to a previous stable version. Stopped and started the Nvidia processes in the services app, tried all the hacks I possibly could in the display settings section, none worked. I remembered that recently I had turned the "Intel Virtual Technology" feature ON from the BIOS settings for a software I wanted to use, so I turned it back OFF, and my second monitor immediately came back on. That was it. For any other folks who might have the same problem.

This did not work for me every time I try and use my second monitor it sees it as 1 big display and when I fix the resolution it just goes back to the not being able to detect stage

I just did a Windows update on an ASUS laptop and now my LG 34” monitor is not being detected. It uses Nvidia display but by CPU has Intel graphics drivers. Any ideas what’s going on here. Everything was fine before the update. LG is telling me the control board is bad but it’s on a 3-year old monitor, it has power.

What do I do if this isn't fixed? I want to use Wacom Tablet 13 but, Display monitor is still not working, the only thing that is working is the pen. Is it because my Pen is prioritised? Advanced display and grafic settings not showing in my pc

This is the second time I lost my External Display and forgot what I did last time. None of the vids including this worked. Uninstalled the driver and the auto detection worked and both came on. Now I recall what I did last time - deactivate the driver and then reactivate. Hope this helps, I'm back at work now 🍻

My 2 monitors are on with the same exact Screen and still can't connect them I don't get it...

for those having issues "detecting" their 2nd montior AND are using the hdmi port from their mother board on the 2nd monitor: Check to see if your CPU supports integrated graphics, if so load up your BIOS boot window. I use an AMD GPU with an intel CPU and i went up to the "search" feature and typed in "Display" or "Monitor" to show an option to enable multple display setting. After I did that I could finally detect my 2nd monitor and begin the process of setting it up. Hope it helps since it took me like 1 hr to figure this out and thank you for the video

Thank you, it worked, I had to do the manual download from google/intel because my driver was an intel. I did It all of a sudden stopped detecting after having detected 1000 times before, then I did your manual method it detected again, 1000 thank you!

I tried a lot of different things but this video is the one that helped me resolve the problem. AMD Auto-Detect did the trick.

This is my problem: I have a new monitor, a Asus Tuf gaming 27". This monitor works fine with several laptops, desktops and games consoles. I also have an older Asus laptop with dual gpu's. I can connect it via hdmi to several different monitors, both old and brand new, and it works fine. But here comes the problem: this old asus laptop does not work with my new asus monitor, as if they're not compatible with each other. I dont get it. What could be the problem? There is no fault in the cables or drivers or gpu's, as far as I know, since both the new monitor and the old laptop works fine in several different set ups, just not together.

My problem is: I'm able to display on two monitors, the main one is OK, but the second one which is a TV screen shows small scale mirroring of the 1st display. When I tried to adjust the scale, it only allows me to adjust the main screen. Any thoughts on that?

Not working,before i was using VGA and my uncle was using hdmi output,not that i updated everything and discovered that hdmi is better now i can't switch monitors,the only thing it does it's change the direction for example 1 to 2 or 2 to 1 but all the applications are in the same place,before i update when i switched monitors all the apps went to one monitor to the other but now it doesn't work.

Same error it's showing input not supported please advise what to do now?

I have no trouble using my monitors. My problem is this: Every time my PC sleeps the two different background pictures change to the same one. I can't keep the two. Every morning when I restart my computer one of the pictures has vanished and the other has taken over in its place. This is not a new thing, It's been happening for two years since I bought my second monitor.

This is my issue but it still is not detecting my other monitors. Please help if anyone has more info.
