I don't have these display options on my laptop after the last update 2 days ago, and the new Windows 11 install update yesterday. I also can't project my screen. I have a pen tablet that I use for digital art projects, and now I can't use it as a result. I've updated my drivers, nothing fixed. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled the drivers, and still nothing. I have a project due Monday, and I'm at my wits end. Been working on trying to fix this issue for hours, and still nothing.

Thanks for the video.I have a HP Desktop which has vga and hdmi ports. I made use dual vga cable (one to 2 cables).i connected the split vga cable to two monitors. I uninstalled and reinstalled video drivers. The two monitors are displaying the contents of the desktop pc. However when i click to project to duplicate the screen, it's not making any impact .On the pc, the monitors are detected. If i make use of vga cable to connect one monitor and hdmi cable to connect to the second monitor,the projecct duplicate screen naked impact.if i select "extended",it works. if i remove the hdmi cable and use dual vga cable,"extended or duplicate won't work. what could be the issue? is that the two monitors are not detected via the dual vga cable?

Hi, I accidently duplicated my monitors and can't undo it.

I have a 2560 x 1080 60hrz and a 3440x1440 165hrz monitor I want to duplicate the screen to see the differences in videos and games. But I click duplicate and it bring up the timer to revert or keep. I click keep changes then it goes back to extend. I click revert it goes back to extend....any help would be fantastic

It's a miscommunication with the computer between the 2 monitors because of mismatched screen ratios. Windows will always do that when you're trying to use a setting the computer can't fully support. I assume the problem is because your laptop or desk top monitor does not have a equal resolution.

How do I get my laptop to its normal screen? When I disconnected the hdmi cable, my laptop display won't go back to normal. I'd like to open some programs but the window wont open

Check whether your laptop is listed as the primary display.

mine can't change from extend to duplicate, when I click keep change it doesn't change and back to the extend again

when i connect my second monitor my main monitor cuts to my desktop wallpaper and i cant do anything.

My monitor is showing 1 and 2 in different sizes. This is resulting in my projector screen not showing full screen, there are spaces around the sides. Any suggestions?

You can go to the display settings and at the top where there are boxes that indicate monitor 1 and monitor 2 just click one and then go down to resolution and change it to what you'd like.

When I connect the monitor, my laptop screen goes black. Obviously the monitor must be somehow set up as the primary screen and I don't know how to change it because the laptop screen is black and I cannot work.

It could be a couple of things. 1) Your graphics card doesn't support it, is malfunctioning, or the cable is bad. Or, you need to look at the display setting and change them to duplicate first to see if that solves it. One issue I've seen pop up is faulty power in the graphics card.

I have 3 monitors when I turned on my computer today it now says 4. How do I delete the fourth one that doesn’t exist

Someone told me try pressing the windows icon button together with p and you should get a page which shows you the duplicate option
