This is a bit confusing. If your laptop display is an intel graphics display and the external display is Nvidia, do you need to choose one or both? I just downloaded the Windows 11 update, and now my LG external monitor is not being detected. I had previously downloaded the Nvidia drivers onto my laptop. I plugged my laptop into my TV and I get the display just fine, but my my laptop will not detect the external LG monitor since the Windows update.

My monitor is connected, but when the laptop goes from off to on, I have to unplug it before the 2nd monitor is detected, every time it sleeps or shuts down.

I'm still having trouble. Updated everything to the most recent update and nothing it working unfortunately. I just got a HDMI splitter in the mail today to see if it would make a difference, and the 2nd monitor is on now, thankfully. Buuuut it still isn't letting me change the display

My second monitor works when I’m not charging my laptop, but when I do . Second monitor just shuts down and can’t detect anymore

This did not work

Open nvidia control panel... Click on adjust resolution... Select display resolution with hdmi -TV... To your desired resolution and boom there goes ur duplicate screen with new resolution...

only thing that worked, everything else is just bullshit. I just opened my Nvidia control panel and it auto detected my second monitor. Thanks man.
