I moved in with my girlfriend 3 months ago I just got approved for my new place don’t do it

My father told me when I was a kid, never move into a woman's house. He said that it was not a manly thing to do! You buy the house and move her in.

I moved in with my ex girlfriend in 2019 and moved out in 2021 knowing it wasnt a good idea but i had to see how it was. Learned a lot

Bruh!!! I vowed to never again move in with another woman who isn't my wife. And even if she is, to make sure I protect myself at all costs. I needed to see this. It will cost you your peace of mind.

There's nothing wrong with depending on a woman for certain things but never let it be your place of living. It's hard to reject the idea of moving in with a woman for the working man. Especially she's on Section 8. Most guys will think they're going to save money with the bills will split or that $300 rent(even though she's paying $80 monthly). The lesson is: women with agendas are not going to let you save money period! Debt has be paid off, restaurants and experiences that she wants to check-off her list, luxury items that she wants you to buy, desperately needs a servant, etc. Waste of time.

Completely wrong guys DONT MOVE IN WITH A WOMAN PERIOD. If the house is in your name YOU CAN STILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR HOME IF SHE MAKES A COMPLAINT OF ABUSE AGAINST YOU and guess what you still have to pay that mortgage because your name is on it. Much better to move in with her so if you are kicked out you can at least go in peace. If you choose to move in with a woman it’s better if the deed is in her name. Only other way is to RENT with your name on the lease only that way she can’t remove you from your home/apt.

I've never lived with any of my girlfriend's. Im the one who had the house and i wasn't going to let her move into my house. Today i have my sanity, house is paid for,and bags of coins. Later on i decided to only have friends with benefits ( they're not entitled to anything), and i decided twenty years ago to not have kids ,so i got a vasectomy ( there was a couple who thought that they were cute and when they found out that i had a vasectomy they got all mad), and i still wear condoms. Think smart guys!

Mac trucc this was great advice! I will say one thing from my experience, if ya'll got a place together equally if shit goes down you gotta leave for the night. I've had a place where my name was the only one on the lease all she had was correspondence and I had to bounce. I was told by two different officers that I had to evict her. So its a slippery slope because women get the upper hand either way.

Worse: you will still have to pay the rent or mortgage of that house because your name is still on the lease while she can bring random dudes in your “house”. There’s no “home” court advantage anymore for men in the West. The right move is to always keep your own place and never let a woman move in.

She wanted us to move in together, I knew from the jump it was gonna be a bad idea, I got my own apartment but decided to stay with her for like a week or so.
