@@nataliethomas9943 I didn’t lose them I just blocked them on social media. Found out he was inquiring about me at the class reunion (I didn’t go, cause I knew he’d be there). But some of our mutual friends told me he was saying some terrible things about me there (flying monkeys). So in order to keep my life private from him I blocked everyone except my family. Now if he inquires about me or lies to them about me he’ll look like a fool cause no one will have information about me to give him. It hurt to block them but they truly aren’t good long time friends if they believe him, not everyone will believe him but people can be two-faced, backstabbers. And he may not be doing as well as he pretends to be sweetie. My ex pretended too and found out he’s drinking heavily and has another addiction he lied about. The hardest thing I did was walking away, but he was very cruel to me and for my sanity and safety I had no choice.

He told me he was going to marry me and he promised me. He came to my home and talked to my father. He promised me everything and then he broke up with me because he said he’s not “mentally stable”. I have never been in so much pain in my life

That is so right! It was 4 days since I heard from him. He made it my fault and THIS time I accepted it. Somehow my eyes came open and I looked myself in the mirror and said look at you. You are beautiful but I heard a voice inside of me say NEVER AGAIN. 4 days later he texts me out of the blue to ask - WYD? This dude is straight crazy. I did not respond and guess what? I won't! Next thing you know ....3.5 hours later he calls twice. He has got to be kidding. I have Trap Call on my phone so he won't get to me. No I deserve better and I plan to make him see that as well!

38 years and I’m done with the ridicule, pain, doormat, chef, Cinderella etc. I believe in marriage but I also believe more people need therapy to correct their broken child before getting married or in a serious love relationship. I am loving the wrong beast. I’m getting out and renting an apt. This is exactly where I am. I’m so disappointed. He took the light and sunshine in my soul. I’m so displaced again. I will put this love into children without good family stability. Thank you for your candid calm approach.

I have watched this video probably about 15 times in the last week… been so therapeutic. Currently getting silent treatment because I stood up for myself and demanded my respect. I hurt his ego with the truth. I know I didn’t do any wrong, but it’s still very hurtful… I am worth it

Yep, on day 3 here. I did exactly the same, enough is enough. We were getting so close but he sabotages it by using words which are not appealing to me which hurt me at some points in the conversation. Even one comment a day can destroy your self esteem. Set my final boundary and also told him the truth.

He cares what he thinks at this point. I have had almost every man try to get me back once he realizes I'm through. The Queen moving on. Men are like buses, always another one done the block. I'm married 23 years now but when I was in my 20s I was not playing with these men.

I responded to him today. I was clear on what i wanted and expected from him. If that was something he didnt feel like he needed to do those things then we can stay with no contact. . We had words back and forth but i ended the conversation. I hope i didnt look like a push over. But i never get to say what i wanted from him. My next steps is to not talk to him. For 14days from the time he texts me again.bc hes going to text me again. . He didnt come home last night. His neighbor told me.

I can see I did everything wrong in my last relationship. I would always respond to his texts within about 30 min. Sometimes he wouldn’t even apologize, he would act as if nothing had happened and I would not call him on it. My father used to leave and we wouldn’t see him for 18 to 36 months, he would show up and behave as if we were just talking yesterday and nothing had happened. I realize that my fear of abandonment has caused me to allow men to mistreat me. I’m not allowing that anymore. Thank you Mr. Gaskins.

I needed this more than u know. Divorced a man who cheated on me multiple times, and is trying to keep me around after divorce. And im trying to heal and move on. Soul tie is strong. But I needed this

I believe in “if someone want to show you who they are believe them” if a man wants to walk all over you and use you and take you for granted it’s because that is him and he did what he wanted to do. I don’t think anyone should have to play mind games with anyone to get them to respect them. I feel if you have to train someone to respect you, the disrespect will happen again because that’s not really them. They are who you want them to be and I don’t want to change anyone. If you wanna be a dog go be a dog but you can’t be a dog with me that’s it that’s all and I’m not about to train you because it would be fake for you to become who I want you to be. If you are grown and you are treating ppl how you do not want to be treated then you know better and no one should have to train you and you can’t blame it on your family not raising you right. You know how to act at work, you know how to act in important situations but you don’t know how to act when it comes to treating me right? If he’s your husband he would never want to hurt you and he would never take you for granted and you wouldn’t have to play mind games with him to get him to respect you point blank period. I’m not about to wait around or play time out games for weeks to see if he want to respect me so I can know if he’s my husband. It shouldn’t have happened in the first place so I don’t need weeks to tell me or games…..all It takes is him pulling the bs in the first place for me to know he’s not the one for me.

For the first time in a long time I’ve been completely single for a whole year! I’ve grew so much spiritually with God, Lost 70 pounds, Saved money and focusing on becoming better in all aspects! My EX has definitely seen the glow but I’m doing a lot better now, Thank you God for growth!

Sheila Thomas Yes drink only water through out the week, work out daily even if it’s simply walking and don’t eat past 6pm. I do the intermittent fasting so I eat from 12pm -6pm

I divorced my husband 3 years ago. Im still crying Hard . I hate beening All by my self . 100% ALONE . 24/7 it gets very old . 72 years old now . be glad when my Life is over with . I dated a guy twice and last year I stopped cold turkey blocked him on everything except my social media account. I only posted when I was looking like a bag of money 💅 and he wasn't able to reach me directly for months. I started feeling good by reaching certain goals, dating quality men and listening to these types of videos. He's now all of a sudden watching all of my stories and trying to pass by my house. Too bad I don't live there anymore ✌🏾🤣. He's not my husband, but I like knowing *he knows* he's not my only option 😁.

Ms. Perfectly Imperfect Hahahaha I went cold turkey on a guy as well , for about a year now deactivated my fb , deleted my IG, made a new one a few months ago but to follow spiritual accounts and when I looked him up, his account wasn’t found (he found me and blocked me) do I set my profile to private 🤪 I have seen him twice on my street 🤦🏽‍♀️ second time I pulled to a stop light I’m fixing my hair, i turn to the right and homeboy is right next to me with a spanking new Jeep, he covered his face in shame and I laughed and sped off , switched lanes and hoped on the freeway 😝✌🏽 skiiiirtttt

Amber, I was strung along for over a year. He showed up at my party with another girl. I let it go. Later that night I sent him a text. I told him I had gotten a room but had too much to drink and forgot to mention it. I told I had been looking forward to the night and how disappointed I was. Then I blocked him. He had a mutual friend tell me to call him. I never did. I had never slept or kissed him so I know he had all that tension. I got the last laugh. The other girl was half his age. We were all coworkers.😆
