Having your own place gives you such a great sense of peace and quiet that you'll never want to go back. Living with a roommate or your parents for too long can lead to you having resentment towards them, but once you get out and get your own spot your relationship with your family improves as a result because you have time and space away from one another. I know times are hard right now, but if you can make it happen go for it.

It's a must if you don't get along with parents/roommates. Eventually, you get tired of them, they get tired of you. Nothing personal, it's just the lack of space/privacy. There's always deals to be found in real-estate to where you can make it fit your situation but what I recommend is at least touring 2 + apartments or homes because there are some desperate landlords out there that don't want to tell you someone died there or there were some previous infestations. Just a heads-up

Indeed. My family is big on watching the news. I'm talking 3 or 4 televisons blasting CNN all day. It was intense. I'm currently in Poland, but im from the USA. Life is good when you got that privacy, but it's even better when you got autonomy

man, me and my best friend almost fell out over that shit lol its not worth it! i refuse to live with my brother too because i know it would get bad. living alone is the way to go and it'll save your relationships with friends/family. many fall out after living together because its just not meant to be most of the time.

Bought my own place a couple years ago after saving up and living with my parents most of my life at age 30. My home a lot of times is like my Hyperbolic Time Chamber (Dragonball Z fans will get it). I’m a heavy thinker and planner so it’s my key place where I go in and get my mind right to take on the world. There’s a certain shift in your mind that takes place when you attain your own freedom that’s unexplainable. A confidence, there’s nothing like it. It’s also nice to be able to entertain women and prioritize them as you see fit.

You know this topic hits me in the feels brother Rom. In 2019 after leaving me ex girlfriend I was homeless in Boston and then spend 3 months in a homeless shelter. Moved into a 5 bedroom apartment with other veterans like myself and even though I had my own room I had zero peace. During the pandemic I worked as a janitor for the VA and bust my A$$ to get a better job and save money and now I’m in Georgia and been living in a 2 bedroom 1 bath house and the peace of mind is off the carts. Rule 1: My home my rules. Rule 2: Come in my home uninvited and you will be talking to my S&W M&P 9mm compact named Harry Potter who’s best friends are the Deadly Hollows😂😂😂 Rule 3: Respect me and my place at ALL TIMES!!! Young brothers if you want true peace of mind get your own place. It’s the greatest feeling ever to be King of your domain. Great Topic brother Rom.

I've always liked everyone I lived with less. I accepted the fact that even if the overall situation is chill some things are just going to be counterproductive to be around. You might be in shape and eating right but have roommates that are actively destroying their own health. These types of things say alot about someone's mental state. Once I notice certain things about people that show that they just don't care about themselves even, I generally keep interaction with them to a minimum. It's just disgust if they are aware of something and don't do anything to fix it, can't even be around that for long. Eventually they will get angry and passive agressive about things and at that point I'm out of there. I noticed this is the trend with most people I'm around so I finally got a little raggedy apartment {looking to upgrade at the end of the year) and its the best thing ever.

Great insight, as always. Cant have a peace of mind without having your own place especially if you are over 27 imho. Even if you live with someone and/or have a family, ownership(property in your name) is key. I own my home and having somewhere I can be alone (at times) to gather my thoughts, plan my next move(s) or even just meditate and listen to my own heartbeat is priceless! Having your own is one of the first steps to conquering your world. Thanks for the message. 🤝

I’m so glad that I moved out of my toxic family house. As I was growing up, I had to deal with a control freak mother who keeps telling me how I should live my life and if I don’t do the things that she demanded, she will use a shame tactic against me. In addition, she wants me to live closer to her as I moved to a city 4 hours away from her. Because of how my parents raised me, I don’t really exhibit an assertive personality as my family would constantly punish me for showing the slightest aggression. Overall, I will def make sure that my boundaries are not violated by my family since they caused so much trauma in my life (to the point where I don’t want to live at their house ever again)!

This what I realized this year. I moved into an apartment with friends from high-school. 4 of us. All into playing games, similar interests and goals. But overtime everyone would lack at something. Cleaning. Problems at the job. And because we know each other we have always been able to work it out but even though we have a stronger circle now because of those experiences, it's shown me I really do want my own space so I never have to deal with that again. I used to say I never want to live alone but I could do it now if necessary

Big brother Rom this really resonates with me. About 2 years ago I separated from my spouse after 17 years together and I had to start back from scratch. I had to move back with my Mom. During that time I stacked money and worked on myself, primarily body game and mindset. Being a little bit older I had to swallow my pride and grind. It wasn't easy because I was used to doing things how I felt. Fast forward I moved into a great apartment. The peace I feel now is priceless 💯

Very important message Brother Rom… I advise guys to never live with a woman unless you have to.. everything you mentioned in the video is 100% true… women who have homes will tempt you with unlimited sex or things will financially be feasible to live with them.. none of those things are true unless she’s on Section 8 or some rental assistance program or strictly a roommate & even that comes with problems. It doesn’t matter if you pay majority of the bills, in their mind it’s still her place & she can do what she likes & invite whoever she wants to invite over including other men… you cannot exercise control, leadership or dominance in a woman’s house, the most you can be is a glorified help meet at best.. she always has the final say & pleading with someone who makes financial decisions based upon emotional spending habits is a loosing battle…

@Trey Hey boss. Sure. It massively depends depending on the person. For some, I'd recommend selling on Amazon, Etsy, & eBay. But, some people are more skilled workers - they have that sort of knack where they're masterful marketers. For example, my marketer makes 5% of my sales & a $2500 fee for just managing my FB sales. He has at about 24 clients. Or, if you're more hands on - I recommend mowing lawns. Two boys in my old neighborhood paid for their entire college education doing it during COVID. Charged $55 for half an acre. Each 1 mowed took 35 minutes and they did about 12 to 17 lawns a day,

I definitely feel what you are saying brother. Having your own place is important. This is why I feel like you are the best male dating coach on KZread. You truly put things in perspective from a holistic, spiritual perspective and go in depth. You don’t just speak purely on the physical or surface level things. And you debunk some of what I’ve heard other coaches speak about. With that being said, I don’t actually have my own place, but I have one hell of a plan to get there. The reason why I don’t currently is because I just didn’t think it would make sense for me to do it economically based on what I was making and how much rent was in the area I live in. I currently live in Sunrise, FL which is about 10-15 minutes west of Fort Lauderdale. Anyone who lives in or has lived in South Florida knows it is one of the more expensive places to live in the US. I was working at a grocery warehouse where I would average 800 a week and 1000 a week with about 60 hours. I would have been able to get my own place but I would barely be making it by my standards. I personally feel that I’m broke if I’m not able to save at least 1,000 per month after all bills and expenses are paid allocating about 300 in spending money. I would’ve probably have a few hundred after all bills and expenses based on my income. That and to me, it didn’t make any sense to spend first, last and security to go rent when the prices are so exorbitant down here and steadily going up, especially considering that I’m a veteran and I have the VA home loan at my disposal. I wouldn’t be ready for that 1,000 dollar emergency and I would be in the poor house if something like that happened. Looking at these factors, I’ve decided not to rent down here but to just save. And I decided to use my post 9/11 GI bill to pay for my CDL, which I recently got. This is going to benefit me in several ways. I’ll be able to save on rent by sleeping in my truck and living on the road. My plan is to save at least 1,000 a month for a period of 9 months. And when I do want to come home, I can just get a cheap hotel for a few days. Next, I’ll also be able to make more money and much more after getting about half a year of experience over the road. With that type of experience, I can make a high 5 figure income and 6 figures with even more experience. Especially if I become an owner/operator. In addition to that, I will be working on my credit score during those 9 months or so, which will put me in position to use my VA home loan and purchase something. The requirements for the VA home loan aren’t like that of a traditional home loan. They are much more lenient. I plan on using that to purchase a multifamily home. That way I can rent it out and at the very least, have my mortgage partially paid by someone else. Been doing some reading on real estate and I feel that’s a great route to take. As long as I live in one of the units I can use the VA home loan for it. I feel like it’s going to be very hard to purchase a multi family unit in a high demand market like South Florida, so I’ve decided that I would love to Georgia. Been to Georgia many times and I like it. I can see myself living there. I looked at 3 different cities across Georgia. I looked at Macon, Columbus and Savannah. And the real estate prices are a lot more friendly than South Florida. Furthermore, I’ve read books on passive income and will continue to educate myself even more so that I can have other sources coming in as well. The way I see, I see no point in getting my own place down here in South Florida based on what I was making. Even buying property doesn’t make sense to me at this time. I can get a 3-4 bedroom house in Georgia for the same price as maybe a 2 bedroom condo in South Florida. That’s my plan. I’m not ruling out moving back to South Florida, but I feel I need to be making at least 200,000 before I move back. That’s my plan though. I am 33 years old and have no wife, girlfriend or kids and I feel this is a great plan considering those circumstances.

Would have done you better to move out earlier and establish sovereignty sooner, but nevertheless you should move out, not probably.

One of my relatives has wanted me to move back to her house and live in the top half of her house. Her pitch to me is that I would save a lot of money, which is true. But there are a lot of cons for sure. I would become there servent/errand boy. We have had an up and down relationship for years. They don't understand why I really don't want to go back there just to save money. I really don't want to move there just to save money and lose my dignity.
