Born in ‘79 I got my first car when i was 15yo. A 1964 Vauxhall viva deluxe. Deluxe because the rear windows would pop out about an inch like an old sunroof. That’s all. The heater was a flap that opened directly into the engine bay, no fan, just exhaust gases. But it was the best car in the world. The entire front seats flipped forward with a hinge at the front. I made more ‘friends’ in the back seat of that car than any other. Deluxe.

I realized while watching this that I can measure how long I’ve been following Doug based on the cars he had - I started watching during the “bumper to bumper” warranty days and the 360 Ferrari time period … almost 10 years now!

'But that car was an automatic transmission, so don't worry'! Epic You lad, are another reason I got my 360. Along with STG. Manual, will never sell.

I live around the corner from your old W211 E63 wagon! Walk by it all the time. It took a nice hit to the rear quarter, but still looks to be in service.

Same thing happened to my 99 A4. Made me sad, I really liked that car.

I’ve been working in Inman Park for a few months. I’ve been telling a coworker that if I moved into the city it would be Inman Park. I see why you like it too.

I'm in Indiana and I'd love to know where the RS2 ended up!! ...looking into it, a blue RS2 Avant was sold at Auburn in Sept 2020, and Doug's video announcing he bought it was in Dec 2020. Would be pretty crazy if the same Avant ended up back here (though I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone who lost the auction to Doug in 2020 and bought it from him as soon as he announced he was selling it)

I saw your R32 in Wichita about 4 years ago, can’t say if it’s still around though. I did see the S-Cargo many times while I was going to school at Kansas State University in Manhattan, it was a staple of AJs Pizza. That was probably 10 years ago.

I always regret not writing down the VIN for my 2008 Chevy Silverado so that I could check and see where she's gone after I had to trade her in to get something more fuel efficient. I drove that truck for almost 10 years and it was the most comfortable vehicle I've owned ever. Really miss her and hope she didnt get wrecked or left to rot.

I only know when my first brand new car is because Valvoline never changed the email address associated with the VIN of the car and the guy still uses Valvoline for oil changes. 2008 Ford Focus S (with manual locks and windows and no cruise control) lives in Las Vegas, NV at 150,773 miles. I sold it in 2012 in the Boston area with around 70k.
