I'm a fairly happy person and I wear an inverted crucifix around my neck. Loving that kinda music doesn't make you angry, it's kinda soothing tbh especially if it's Carcass or Cattlr Decapitation's latest album. 🤘

my dad died of murder cuz when my mom murdered him but it okay becaus when he dyed and I got to eat his piza bucause the day before we had had ordered pizza and when we ordered pizza he said he said me and my bigger brother his name is jonnathin can't not eat the pizza because he gonna to eat the pizza at work but then he died :( so I ea the pizza😋

Shout-out to bad Boston weather and transportation. I once walked from Fenway to the Brighton Music Hall in Boston because I didn't trust the public transportation to get me there. I also don't normally go into Boston and I didn't know which public transport would work. But it was also 100 degrees out and I legit had to walk into every convenience store to get water and cool off. I probably smelled awful at the concert lol.

I used to live in allston and before that next to fenway. its the green line- I think specifically the B one and listen, you would have only gotten there approx. 5 min earlier because that is easily the slowest train. it stops ever 500 feet or so near boston university! what the HECK!

Question: When is a song or instrumental considered to be a, "Progressive," versions of their genre? Like progressive Jazz, Rock or Folk music. Like what is progressive music.

Proggressive rock, for example, is rock music but there are unusual time signatures and chords used in their composition and they are usually more hard to play and require more technique. They also tend to be longer than usual songs. I think you can say this about every "proggressive" genre. Basically, prog songs sound a bit unusual but very cool. Listen to Dream Theatre for example, they are one of the biggest prog overlords in music right now.

@@onion405 It's not only that. Prog bands tend to mix different styles and are more avantgarde so to say. Basically trying to push prog music into new territories. Technique is also much higher than the average rock band

It’s far, FAR more experimental with music theory than the base versions of those genres. I’d say listen to Dream Theater’s early songs (before they mastered their style)
