My heart literally broke when she said she didn't really receive a welcome home after her deployment. Heroes like you should always receive the warmest welcome home because you deserve it, S. These things you blame sgt.Lee for are at the wrong door, please consider this Did sgt Lee make the decision to enter Iraq? Answer no. Did sgt Lee draw up the battle plan for Iraq? Answer no. Sgt Lee is a soldier full stop. A soldier don't get to pick where their deployed, you might hate why and how they are there but never hate the soldier on the ground. Sgt Lee served, she fought, she risk her life for her country, please don't take her honor away from her, just don't do it.

Because some people get pleasure from it; some people are envious or jealous of others getting something they think THEY deserve instead.... and some people just think the military is so evil, that veterans don't deserve ANYTHING for serving their country! It's human nature; and it's also the kind of mindset that looks down on people who choose the military as a career; some people don't think it's worthy of respect, or honor - and that the people who DO choose it have something wrong with them!

In the UK we have a programme very much like this one called "SOS DIY", which helps people in situations very much like Ms Lee. One of the many cases involved the building of a row of homes for wounded veterans and their families, one of whom was an ex-Grenadier Guardsman who'd lost a leg to a land mine in Iraq. You are not alone, Ms Lee - best wishes for the future from the UK!

Finally a Veteran gets the help that many didn't get. This would have made a great movie. Purple Heart Homes and George and his team deserve the Medal Of Honor. As 22 year Veteran this was really inspiring to see how some really appreciate the American Veterans.

We appreciate that you gave to your country and sacrificed many things while doing this. Thank you to everyone that participates in helping these veterans out.

All of our veterans deserve a help-up upon coming home from their service to our country and its citizens. Our wounded veterans especially have earned a help-up to assist & acclimate them back into the civilian world. We will never really understand their struggles, pain and heartbreak which enter their lives upon arriving home. At the very least they should expect and most certainly deserve our love and respect. Kudos and gratitude to “George to The Rescue” for their fantastic work and their open hearts 💕. 🙏
