EMOTIONAL Home Renovation for Selfless Parents

Ойын-сауық

A beautiful new kitchen and living room are in the works for the Voelpel family as George to the rescue heads to Westbury, New York to gift them with the surprise of a lifetime. After having to halt construction on their dream kitchen, Charles and Christina had to turn their living room into a make shift kitchen. But, with the help of George Oliphant this deserving family now has their dream kitchen, perfect for Sunday dinner with their beautiful children and grandchildren.

I love a Levitt home being saved. A big part of History and the migration after WWII of returning soldiers and others from the over crowded city to the suburbs was began by Levittown." George has said several times throughout the years that he donates the cabinets and doors IF they're in good shape. However, he will not donate anything that would be dangerous for anyone else to use, and considering that many, many times these renovations are done in houses that are cheaply built--Levitt houses are a prime example--the builders of the time used shoddy, inferior materials that just haven't stood the test and wear of time.

What a wonderful renovation! I grew up until my senior year in high school in a home built in one of these kinds of subdivisions. A very large family in a very small home. My Dad built a bedroom in the basement for the boys, and also a sauna for his family of Finnish descent. Then in the "half story" upstairs was a tiny bathroom, and first one large dormitory bedroom, that he eventually made into two bedrooms. It brought my thoughts to those times, watching this video. This was a really great renovation, turned out so nice!

My heart. I moved into moms childhood home at 12 after my grandma died and my parents separated. My mom spent a year re doing the downstairs storage room so I had my own space after a year on the couch. Senior I woke up at 3 in the morning in 4 feet of water that was creeping over my bed Because I had 2 bed springs. My cat was on my chest crying. I didn’t want to open my door so I went out the window with my cat and phone in underwear and a tee and started banging on the back door screaming. She heard the knocks but me and Welcomed me to a bat in undies and a tee was my cats head poking out the collar of my shirt
