I'm making an Easy Junk Journal Base out of 3 basic supplies, a 9" x 12" manila envelope, printer paper and (wax) thread. You don't have to use these exact supplies just use what you have on hand.

I did this but instead of sewing, I opened up the journal and my stapler and stapled the spine into my piercing mat. Then I remove the mat and bent up staple pieces down. So two new journals using envelope, copy paper, and stapler. You're brilliant Bexx!! Thank you!! @blackwhispercrafts

@@BlackWhisperCraftsakaBexx awesome! My first thought was... is there a large stapler at work... but I don't want to take the new journal in to work do I tried my red Swingline stapler (only thing I liked about that movie) lol and it worked. Yay!!!

You can use whatever you'd like for the binding. I just like using waxed thread, its my favorite at the moment. 😊

I don't have a video & won't get to make one until August but here's Jessica's - I do dip & fold mine then put them in the pan as she does, Sometimes I dry mine in the sun but mostly I bake them in the oven. There are lots of videos on coffee/tea dying papers you may find one you like better. I like my papers to be darker so here's my recipe (cup of semi hot coffee, stir in 1 tablespoon of instant coffee crystals & add 1 small tea bag let it set for 10 minutes or more.) kzread.infoKk9D2OIMR2M?si=AOua6ar8MA_Hyc5L&t=244 I hope this helps.
