    한자, 汉字, 漢字. Same thing, different names, the similarity between Japanese, Chinese and Korean is all thanks to the Chinese characteres, you can legit understand Japanese and Korean better by memorizing them.

    I think it's pretty cool that you're Russian, and you speak fluent English and you're learning Korean. I'm from Ukraine and I speak fluent English, and I'm learning Korean too. So this video was really helpful. Thank you. :)

    since korean breaks down number into 4 digits to count we sometimes write number like this 1,0000,0000(1억) instead of 100,000,000

    +WeeklyJapanese Haha, I confirm this! Learning Japanese counting systems is so tough! But you'll get it done by praticing! I self-studied both Japanese and Korean. I think that have many similar things between 2 languages. Korean is a little bit easier than Japanese. :)

    To say in short with the numbers over 10 thousands, just divide the number by each 4 digits and read them. ex1) 2340231 → 234,0231 → 234만(man=10thousand) 0231 → now, just read "234만"and "231" (0 at front of all numbers is not read) ex2) 12345678 → 1234,5678 → 1234만 5678

    So I noticed some spelling mistakes in Korean on your notes.. I really love your teaching style, since you teach it for English speakers. But I'm just a little worried about these mistakes.. I don't want to learn wrong. It seems like the mistakes were more of a typo since the mistakes were just flipped, if that makes sense? I think it would be really reassuring for us students if you could go back through your notes and look for further mistakes.. Thank you ^^;

    한때 이게 실제로 서양과 동양의 숫자 단위 체계의 차이 때문에 혼돈을 준다 하여 표기법을 바꿔야 한다는 말도 나오기는 했죠. 물론 무산되었기에 지금도 세 자리 단위로 끊기는 하지만.
