한자, 汉字, 漢字. Same thing, different names, the similarity between Japanese, Chinese and Korean is all thanks to the Chinese characteres, you can legit understand Japanese and Korean better by memorizing them.
I think it's pretty cool that you're Russian, and you speak fluent English and you're learning Korean. I'm from Ukraine and I speak fluent English, and I'm learning Korean too. So this video was really helpful. Thank you. :)

Lmao i was trying to concentrate but i kept singing along to lion heart 😂, So i had to keep rewinding to hear what she said 😂😂
omg hyuna in the background :D
To me Sino-Korean numbers are way easier than native korean numbers
wow thank you ! it's easy now and it's lick arabic numbers !!
Hey Margarita I just wanted to let you know that I find these videos extremely helpful as I am learning Korean! Thank you so much for these videos and your dedication! Keep it up!
could u do a weekly kor video about honorifics? i'm halfway through my beginners korean wb and they dont really explain them in specifics, i get really confused on who to speak it with and when you type it and stuff. thank you!! love ur videos x
Can't wait for the next one ! thanks ^_^ !
I took notes and understood your explanations and examples quickly. Thank you!!
since korean breaks down number into 4 digits to count we sometimes write number like this 1,0000,0000(1억) instead of 100,000,000
You think that you have it hard with 2 counting systems; Japanese has like 200!

+WeeklyJapanese Haha, I confirm this! Learning Japanese counting systems is so tough! But you'll get it done by praticing! I self-studied both Japanese and Korean. I think that have many similar things between 2 languages. Korean is a little bit easier than Japanese. :)

Thanks for all of your help! You make learning Korean so much easier! I don't have to go searching all these websites looking for an easy way to learn because you make it easy and fun! One day I hope you'll do something like K-Tube closer to where I live and we could meet. That'd be awesome! Thanks so much for your help! You are so inspiring! Fighting!
Helped me a lot! Thank you!
The basic rules you talked about are basically exactly the same as in chinese, so I can totally see how they come from that, which is really awesome!
I so wish you can personal help me learn Korean, you're amazing😊
excellent! thank you!
Thank you margarita ,, this was useful. btw how many langs do u speak ?
knowing numbers n chinese(Mandarin), sino-korean n Japanese, i realised that these countries' numbers sound alike. go n have a listen. that's how i remember them. compare n find it's similarities. in time, you'll get it.
To say in short with the numbers over 10 thousands, just divide the number by each 4 digits and read them. ex1) 2340231 → 234,0231 → 234만(man=10thousand) 0231 → now, just read "234만"and "231" (0 at front of all numbers is not read) ex2) 12345678 → 1234,5678 → 1234만 5678
+margarita i'm really amaze on how did you do it to learn a korean language. From time to time i love to watch korean drama., then i just rely on the subtitle, after watching and subscribing to your chanel. I really want to learn korean language now., God bless
Yeah it's a pain trying to adjust each time to use either sino or native it's ridiculous. Anyway thanks for this margo can't wait for native numbers this series has helped me heaps so far
너무~~~~ 고맙습니다 언니~~~
you're so good at teaching ^^ ♥
Wow. I never understood how when I switched my phone to Korean why they got all wonky and didn't correspond to the numbers I thought they would. Thank you for explaining this!
너무 감사합니다
What about symbols numbers, who they use in math
Please continue to do these videos, these help me soooo much. I'm trying to learn Korean because I want to learn about my culture cuz I'm Korean but my mom isn't a very good teacher >_

The first time you ever have used a SNSD song...Why do you have conflicting feelings :(? Roll Deep and SNSD are so good
you are so pretty! you're my new idol hehe!
I had to watch the vid twice bc I started fangirling at Lion Heart ㅎㅎㅎ
please make a video about the difference between consonants & double consonants^^
So I learned Hangul, (so easy!) but now where do I start to learn what the word means?? Help please!!!
I have taekwondo and we have to learn atleast up to five, can you help me with remembering techniques?
Lion heart^^ yeee!
The pattern of Korean numbers are likely the same as Japanese pattern in reading the numbers . Of all Korean series you may teach us this is the easiest for meeee (I'm Filipino but I know how to speak a little of Japanese :)
This counting System is just like in Japanese 😊
Lion heart
im starting to learn hangeul myself and this is so handy! i lack patience tho haha
what are the difference about sino numbers and native number? :)
一/yī/ yi n/ one ,三/sān/sam/three ,五/wǔ/o/five,六/liù/yuk/six,七/qī/cil/seven,八/bā/pa/eight,九/jiǔ/ku/nine,十/shí/sip/ten.... oh my god ,,,,i dont want learn more ,damn
I can see sort of a pattern for 1 -10 일 and 이 both have 이, 삼 and 사 both have 사, 오 and 육 both have ㅇ, 칠 and팔 both have ㅍ, and 구 and 십 are the two odd ones.

마가리타 이쁜데 똑똑해, 노래도 잘해
This is funny. It's exactly identical to the Romanian number system. Apart from the 10.000 thing.
how did you learn korean ? :D
The number system is similar to mandarin~
For example, how do you write 18,000,900?
@Neky_Hina
8 жыл бұрын
1800만 900. That is, "천팔백만 구백."
what does the word romanisation mean? im not a native english speaker or anyting so thats why i dont know it
@theg5thwave

means roman alphabet by 'romansation'.

This is Hanguel 안녕하세요, so the romanization for it would be annyeonghaseyo..
So the counting pattern is a lot like Japanese,, phew that makes my life easier 😅
yu ah dum, so puh dee zuh soo top.
The music was so distracting lol my brain was on auto-singalong
i dont know why but u remind me of red velvet IRENE u look like her somehow xD thank u for the video i just learn the video in fun way from u and i just knew how to sing giwomy song correctly lol
just wondering if I do this right: 77.777.777.777=칠백칠십칠억칠천칠백칠십칠만칠천칠백칠십칠?
does ㄱ in 육 represent k or g ?
@mjrba2266
8 жыл бұрын
I think it makes more of a k sound, since you say "yook" and not "yoog"
вставляй хотяб русские субтитры
うつくしい
So I noticed some spelling mistakes in Korean on your notes.. I really love your teaching style, since you teach it for English speakers. But I'm just a little worried about these mistakes.. I don't want to learn wrong. It seems like the mistakes were more of a typo since the mistakes were just flipped, if that makes sense? I think it would be really reassuring for us students if you could go back through your notes and look for further mistakes.. Thank you ^^;
한글자막은 없나요?ㅋ
이이 is 22 right and 오십이 is 301 right?
@valennoguera169
6 жыл бұрын
22 would be 이십이 and 오십이 is 52, if what you intended to say was 301 it would be 삼백일

This counting System is just like in Japanese 😊
