Always check the fridge runs when you pick up a reefer. :)

A leaf blower is the best way to clean our any trailer especially a reefer

when you pick up a reefer its a good idea to have the reefer unit run a pretrip, it checks all its system and lets you know if all is working right

It's good to take pictures it's also good to turn the lights on to make sure they all work

Easygoing day for everyone to enjoy! Yeah, trailers sitting in drop lots take some random anonymous damage! Never good! Especially if it's bad enough for you to not be able to use the only one you're supposed to take!

My company used to pull quite a bit out of West Columbia Cargill……hated to have to drop my trailer in that lot……..

Seeing your kid start the truck brought back a lot of good memories from my dad. I spent a lot of time driving with him before running off to the military. A lot of good times in his truck!

Lights for your truck I'm a sucker for lights lol

simple rule for refers, DOORS open, Refer OFF. frozen evaporators are a pain. If you run the refer with the trailer doors open you pull in the moist air in from outside. The only way for that water to escape is through the drains in the evaporator. If you have a frozen or almost froozen load the water will freeze on the coil and you will be defrosting endlessly. most shippers have temperature recorders in the load somewhere. They love rejecting loads.

I know you never do these kind of drop lots but it’s pretty common that they stack them in so tight that the trailers scrape each others sides. It’s a constant thing

You can’t see oil level on that trailer it’s grease packed axles. You can switch them though

When I'm checking out used Refers I put a smogger in the Box, close it and check for leaks

Rates still up around $3.00 thanks to a few of my longtime brokers. Most brokers taking too much money due to lack of loads. Hang in there bro. Go SC flatbedders/truckers!!! ✌️

Hey, I've been pulling Refer over 20yrs, with 33yrs out here, I mostly pull fresh meat our, and fresh/frozen back, it's a play with some on the receiving end and back, but no thang, it pays well. It's Trucking. I run a '23 W900L 86 studio, 292 WB, no thang. common sense in this biz, u can do well. Enjoy Ron.

Would have started the refer if I was you. Ran refer for many years but hauling hazmat in them. All refers are both heaters and cooling capabile

You can use tax exempt fuel for the reefer

At first I was excited that I could hire you to move some loads for me (reefer).........then I was like BOOOOOO just shufflin' empties LOL

Be careful with the reefer man I used to pull one. Got the Boston late had to go park in a parking lot so I backed up to a river woke up a couple hours later but two guys spraying either into my cab intake. Looked into the mirrors and they built a ramp across the creek and was stealing turkey wings out of my trailer the distributor said that I was missing 230 cases and I owed $100 a case I told him turkey cases wasn't going for no hundred dollars a case.

I am sure you do but check oil,fuel and temperature on your refer bidaily and record as part of pre and post trip…now that your pulling someone else trailer you should on be using your brake pedal in emergency conditions and actually stopping only ….rest of the time should be spiking and Jaking 😉

I just pulled a Pepsi frito lay load from garden ca to Dayton tx and they use carrier link ya their not the best at this and honestly take a long time

If you know reefers you should pick a thermo king I have a carrier unit my other thermo is 10 years older and quieter and get on the ground and flash light your wheel seals bud
