I delivered to a Walmart DC in PA and it must have had 100/150 US Express bob tails just parked long term and this was almost a year ago. BTW 125,000 miles and just over a year and that black 2013 Volvo you talked about is still runnin’ STRONG! nothing but oil changes and tires. Thanks again for a great truck!

I've been retired for years now and still hate driving by the scale in my car . Alot of guys would say if they pulled you into the scale house for inspection there was no way you were not leaving without a ticket. Had a friend with a truck with 600 miles got a ticket they said it was too wide , it was a brand new Mack with no aftermarket work it just came out of the factory

Love the video Justin! Have you heard about the new apprentice program in Maryland? It is a vocational High School program that is for kids interested in trucking as a career. They would still have to take a behind-the-wheel course but would have a wavier of the “must be 21” federal rule to truck across state lines. It’s still a trial program though, only one high school for now. Hope God keeps watching over you and your family.

Yea, those kids have probably never been 20 miles from home, and I've actually heard of trainees getting hundreds of miles "off course" being overwelmbed, how about paying professional drivers their worth, and keeping HWY's safe

I actually had a Florida DOT inspector pull me over the road and tell me he was doing a "personal inspection". When I called my Driver Manager from the trucking company I work for, he said he had never heard of a "personal inspection"! In any case, the idiot looked at my logs on my tablet and said I had the best log record he had ever seen from any driver from the company I work for, and let me go.

I got a level 1 inspection back in April & a level 3 two weeks ago. Thank God I passed both with no issues.

I was in Hilton Head last weekend, you can see all the container ships sitting out in the ocean waiting to get into Savannah.

I think that is a grocery DC for Walmart. Most of the loads leave out of there around 6 pm at night so there would be a lot of trucks parked there in the morning.

On the Walmart grocery DC's, a lot of the store loads run at night.

The US needs the same cell phone fine as Australia it’s a $500 fine and 3 points to your license and in the UK your license gets suspended for 6 months and you get a fine for being caught on your phone while driving

You know you're in Georgia when you look at the weight stations near the welcome center and you see dot officers handing out tickets and inspections as a welcome gift

I just went through Atlanta Wednesday on 85 and got pulled in for a level 2, officer was super chill, i just got out with some warnings for some small oil leaks and a tag light on trailer

I've never drove for Warner but I'm a Certified truck driver instructor here in Georgia As well as a driver I will say every company you go with we'll have their UPS and Downs But as far as their training program and be trained with Warner They're in the top 5 Because even after you get off the truck with your trainer they make you came up with another new driver and you run team for so many hours or miles before You can go solo So that is a plus

A lot of the Walmart DCs will have a satellite terminal for a Mega carrier. Swift has them at a few Walmarts and Targets. Been Swift 25 years now. Thinking about retirement. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

If I was the DOT, and I were looking for infractions, I would stop only owner-operators with their own authority. Not only are you more likely to find infractions because They cannot always afford to keep their trucks in strict compliance like the major companies can, But they have no one looking over their shoulder constantly like the big carriers do with their drivers and trucks. Not all owner-operators fall into this category, but the DOT works on statistics. I am not saying that is fair, but again, statistics.

A phone ticket in a big truck is very expensive and your company can be fined 10× what the driver gets. This will probably get you fired if you're not an owner. That's why you buy a headset. I know a young driver that doesn't like to wear his prescribed eye glasses. He got his 2nd ticket a couple of months ago. The fine was $30 and a big hit on his csa score. A 3rd ticket for the same offense is the insurance company telling you that they can no longer cover you for sure. He said that he would lose his CDL as well.

It's the weirdest thing, but I get hungry AF as soon as I'm behind the wheel, and I'm a skinny dude lmao :D

The go to every time they take a long time to unload is we’re low on staff when in all actuality they’re either back there slacking off on their phones or taking breaks.

As a retired loader for 25 years the receiving Gods actually come out of their booths and scream at you not to load certain trucks with no explanation ! 5 or 6 guys that could be doing work are chatting on their lifts and drinking coffee . Glad I'm retired ! KT in the north is the same as QT in the south . Pathetic as far as getting loaded or unloaded if you miss it by a minute ! One time I saw a trucker start throwing his load on the yard after being there for 2 days ! I've never seen my co workers high 5 everyone for days after it happened !
