Hi Al, hope you and Jan are OK. My hubby fitted a new isolation valve on our toilet, because the old one had got so tight over time that it was a real pain to turn off or on, now we have the same type as yours, even I can turn it on and off! We like to turn ours off while we are away, because we had a slight leak once when we were away! As always, a great tutorial. TFS, keep safe and stay well! 👍❤

Got the exact same prob in my house that I rent to a tenant also the flapper in the flush valve doesn't close after flushing so the sisten doesn't fill. Sorting it tomor so after watching your vids I hope I can get it done. Will let you know how I get on. By the way your vids are extremely helpful, thanks for uploading them. 👍

This happens every few days on my upstairs WC. I just slap the side and it stops but it is annoying. I think it is the fill valve that does not shut off occasionally. Valve is a Fluidmaster 400a. I replaced it but it still happens. I really really really regret letting the bathroom fitter build the WC into the cabinet. Love Dereton33's videos

Restricting the flow through closing down isolating valves causes a hell of a noise......... it is possible to purchase delayed fill float valves which would be a better choice.
