I think her dad was one of the five men he killed for what they did to his wife. He didn't want to tell her why he did it, but I am pretty sure he did.

This show surprised me with how good it ended up being… it’s fun to be a walking dead fan again!!!

Negan took a pretty solid hit from Maggie's knife and of course, the plot armor healing tech kicked in and it's as forgotten as the ear Negan shot off😂

Sloppy pacing and drawn-out story lines to justify a cliffhanger have been halmarks of the franchise for years. How the mighty have fallen.

I thought they were gonna do like a small finale “movie” or something similar to that instead of a season 2. Wow. What the fudge. I hope it does NOt drag on further more and more. These characters been around too long… pretty soon it’s either gonna have to be bad writing an idiotic choices because they should be really smart by now, especially in their situation that they’ve already been through…. Or just boring writing because there’s nothing really except the stuff you can expect to happen.

Absolutely loved the finale love it great season cannot wait to see what the next season is leading up to. Forcing negan to be a monster to protect their methane is gonna be a great hook while Maggie tries to free him wonder how Maggie is gonna feel when she finds out they cut his toes off.

Thank you Ryan & SC for making these breakdowns :) I know that a lot of fans tapped out of TWD years ago...(right around the time that Negan & Lucille took out two of TWD's finest) but even when the showrunners had their head up their butts my fam and I kept watching because we loved the characters. So far Dead City, for me personally, is EFFING FABULOUS! Not just the characters, which are great (Maggie and Negan are 💓) but the show as a whole. Thanks again from all of us lonely Walkers 🥰 P.S. I wasn't sure how I felt about "Daryl Dixon" until I saw the full preview the other day, and now... Can't wait. Bring on the big DD baby!

Negan telling Hershal "good to see u kid" such a bittersweet moment. It must be hard to see him so grown now. He reminds him of his father. I hated Negan for a few seasons but he started growing on me when he was locked up in alexandria. He redeemed himself in my opinion. I just wish he could go back with Maggie or anywhere but NY with those people.

Everytime the dude popped up with that bright blue screen, blinded the hell out of me. Haha

The finale was good! But not the best episode of the season. Love this show. The scene with Maggie and Hershel in the truck really showed us a lot about the state of their relationship. Heartbreaking to watch.

The best part of all the episodes for me was when Neegan made it rain guts. That was epic. If he goes back to those ways, I'm 100% on board.

Considering what the original TWD group had gone through by the time season 9 rolled around, it baffled and disappointed me that they did not immediately repel the whisperers as soon as they made their presence known. To allow Negan to live after all he and his group did is one thing, but to not be pro-active when yet another antagonistic group of survivors pops their head up . . . I switched off and have, as of so far, not returned. But, I like Negan now so . . .maybe? :)

Question, you showed a clip of Michonne standing over Negan after he and Rick fought. Part of their plan was to show people in this new world that they will be different by sparing Negan. Were they correct with that decision? I think Negan changed but it did nothing for the world around them. Maggie never fully trusted Rick again, they co-existed from that point forward. In the end it seems more the their world is like or trying to be like OG Negan.

Ah come on 6 episodes and then the season finale? Why cant we have 24 episodes anymore

This has to have a 2nd Season because it’s not making enough since to me and it introduced too many new themes and characters using only 6 episodes when the others had like 18-22. It’s like an incomplete thought. Now, comes the issue with Methane Gas & new female tyrant; Ginny; Herschel and “New Babylon”-too much to take on and clear up in 6 episodes only. Don’t let me forget the woman who is hooked up Croat-she was in Ozarks and got a bullet in the middle of her head trying to be a bad a**!

Its not even just that Negan is a fan favorite now, Maggie has dropped off alot and is annoying af now with no personality! Its funny how people thought this show was mainly about Maggie, but really its about Negan as he is the main one going into season 2. I was honestly hoping he ended Maggie lol

I hate bad writing. Moody teenagers & really stupid decisions pisss me off so much… I don’t get why that’s such a stereotype. I never felt like that. And I was always just honest and straight up with how I felt to family and everyone in my teenage years. You can’t tell me there are actually freakin emo annoying teenagers like that… must be horrible parenting and freaking not enough ash whooping. Smfh.

Ugh...what a shit fucking stunt to pull. I was looking for closure on this franchise and thought this would be an epilog as a limited run series. This ending was a sour note after some decent character work throughout. One thing hasn't changed, I'm still done with these characters after last night. The cost? My eyeballs on any more of these life-extending measures on a franchise that should have died years ago.

I liked the show, but bad writing let it down. The young girl just happened to see the woman who was part of the group Negan and Maggie befriended. I mean how convenient is that? A 14 mile wide city, and she conveniently just happens to be in the right place at the right time. ridiculous.
