Literally!!! One of the funniest episodes of faulty towers. Me and my partner were laughing hysterically (be it we are slightly drunk)

Worth noting that cherry blossoms are indigenous to Japan and the ones in DC were gifts from Japan. So, further symbolism for the US/Japan relations clearly at the center of this movie!

Considering Red Wing is also now a cyborg vampire bird in the comics, I too think it being a drone is the right call. It would be cool for them to give us a nod to Sam's comic avian telepathy and have him use Red Wing to corral a flock of birds though.

This I felt like that was a better play but also all of it is a bit cheesy. Though it does modernize it to a point so I get it like it feels more believable. Also this though the bird would get dunked on sooner or later an that would be hard to see like Hedwig in harry potter. I can't bear it so if the drone gets dunked on it's ok it can be rebuilt.

That's what turned me off to it. If they're gonna force Captain Falcon on us, the least they could do is give him a movie all his own instead of trying to shoehorn him into a retread of the best Captain America movie, and arguably one of the best MCU films altogether.

Eternals, Red Hulk, and Captain America! 🤩 This movie looks fantastic! I'm getting a lot of Winter Soldier vibes from this trailer.

1:20 -- In the MCU General Ross doesn't just create the Abomination by dosing Blonsky with gamma rays and an attempt at recreating the Super-Soldier Serum. It's also revealed that the formula that he told Banner was intended to protect soldiers from radiation, that Banner experimented on himself with, was another attempt at recreating not only the Super-Soldier Serum, but the "Vita-Rays" that Dr. Abraham Erskine used to activate the serum. Banner's expertise in gamma ray physics was something Ross intended to exploit to copy the Vita-Rays to unlock the potential of the serum. Unfortunately, the serum actually worked a lot like Erskine's, which is to say it was psychoactive. "The formula makes what is good, great, and what is evil, terrible." Banner witnessed his father beat his mother to death when he was 8 years old and had latent dissociative personality disorder, so the formula gave embodiment to The Hulk, the inner child that wanted to be "Strongest One There Is" so that no one could hurt him or his loved ones ever again. But instead of stabilizing the formula, the gamma rays amplified it, so instead of someone big enough to stand up to bullies and bad men, the world got someone capable of taking the endless rage of a child who witnessed one of the people he loved and trusted end the life of the other, and turning it into destructive force.

I believe the funeral is for Isaiah Bradley. It's going back to how Captain America:the Winter Soldier was as a spy thriller but including different elements like the Leader, Red Hulk, adamantium etc.

Ngl, the lack of mustache on Ross feels weird. His whole personality has been "Loves Authority, Has Mustache."

Nice call back with Isaiah Bradley leaping out of the window in the same type of shot as when Steve Rogers was chasing Bucky in CAWS.

I’m so pumped for everything coming up, Deadpool & Wolverine, Agatha, F4 , and this movie!

Ed Pool and Wolverstein is probably going to be the biggest R-rated movie ever. I think we're definitely going to see Mr. Pool again but this might be the last time we see this incarnation of Wolverstein so I think a lot of people will see it and probably love it, as Ed Pool's movies are fan favorites

RIP to the original Ross.. hard to unsee someone playing him with out the mustache

Nothing more romantic on Valentine's day than watching Red Hulk and Captain America duke it out under some cherry blossoms

If you look real close at the scene where the white house explodes, I think you see red hulk rolling across the roof, like he was what was sent through it and caused the explosion

given the origin of red hulk in the comics, it feels way more likely that the funeral will be Thadeus Ross' after the leader has staged his death and kidnapped him to turn him into the red hulk

I think he actually gets shot by the super soldier and to survive he’s offered the hulk serum.

As an added bonus - the fight amongst DC's famous cherry blossoms is that those trees were given to the US from the Japan, specifically the Tokyo mayor in 1912 as a sign of "love, beauty and lasting friendship." If we're headed into conflict with Japan in the MCU, that makes the destruction of these beloved cherry trees very apt.

Hulk was a result of Bruce tying to recreate the super soldier serum that created Captain America. Kinda makes sense that Captain America also has to deal with Hulk's enemies But I do get you tho

It'd be an unforgiveable oversight were they not to. I expect it to be a matter of whether or not you/we/anyone _accepts_ the explanation rather than if there'll be one at all. 😃

I suspect we get Red Hulk as an attempt to save Ross after attempt on his life. They administer it in has and, like the adverse effect it had on RED Skull, we get red hulk.

I cannot wait to see Cap & Falcon fly side by side in the sky.

Remember to look past the actors, and into the characters :) Ross is very much acquainted with the hulk, more so than a lot of others in the mcu generally. They're avoiding directly addressing the change in actor so it feels right to me to have that continuity. Just an opinion though.

The funeral scene will be for President Ross, seeing as he was shot in front of the world. He will then return as Red Hulk. Whether the general public are aware of his identity remains to be seen.

The funeral might be for Ross / RH, as I suspect Harrison Ford isn't (too interested or) signed on for too many Marvel movies beyond this one if any more at all. Given his age, this might be their finale and write-out method for Ross. Give him a final movie as a central character, and then give him a big battle send-off as Red Hulk.

If they are introducing Red Hulk, they have longterm plans here that would include Ford sticking around for more than this film. We already know he's in Thunderbolts, and there's a good chance in stuff beyond, even if it's just voice acting and someone else does Red Hulk mocap.

I'm not in PR but I would write copy like this, "This Valentine's, give your loved one something big, red and sure to smash their way into their heart." Since this is a more "serious" movie than Deadpool, they can also capitalize on that same weekend being President's Day weekend. The themes tie in nicely with that holiday, plus it means ticket sales will have an extra Saturday with people able to go to a night time showing on Sunday.
