The trailer didn’t get me excited at all. I think Disney Star Wars has been lacklustre. No real planning, and their cannon is weak. The Acolyte just looks to be another pointless cash cow.

11:20 Calling the style in Rebels "kiddy" is a little odd considering that is not that different from the style of the Clone Wars, that and the coment at 11:47 made me think that you guys should make a video about the evolution of the artstyle in the Star Wars animated shows. From the Christmas Special and Droinds show to The Tales of the Jedi/Empire, the jump from 2D Clone Wars to 3D Clone Wars, and how they evolve from being more stylized to be more close to the movies/shows.

This is the only issue I have regarding the storytelling thus far. Let’s recap Magneto endures an arrest and fake prosecution, kidnapped and tortured Witnessed 1st hand a manufactured weapon that can depower Omega level mutants permanently Thousands if not millions of mutants killed in Genoshoa Some fairly significant percentage of non-mutant humans turned into prime sentinels, about to kill or capture All of the above backed by UN nations, Doom, Hydra and who knows who else and when Magneto responds "HE" declared war. That’s a odd point of view coming from Wolverine. When I remember that Magneto said to the UN counsel that he only ever acted to avenge crimes again his people, I also think of Sebastian Shaw's comment of calling it all publicity stunt. Who knew that it really was but it was just Bastion running the show. Man this show is amazing!!

So what if time is supposed to move like how it did in Endgame. Going into the past doesn’t affect the future, depending on the technology. 2099 Spider-Man can travel to other universes with the watch and can prevent an incursion from happening. The multiverse and time are connected. What if the X-men broke their timeline because of inferior technology. Cable and Bishop used whatever scraps and resources they had to travel through time. Unlike Tony or Kang who had easy access to materials to fully utilize their technology due to their time not being in an apocalyptic state. Essentially the X-Men universe have been using a poor man’s version of time travel. Also maybe it’s how you travel in time. Technology, magic, or black holes can be different forms of travel that affect the time stream in their own way. Random thought I had.

I loved the portrayal of the droids and General Grievous at the beginning. It really showed that when an army of battle droids and a brilliant military strategist/powerful cyborg are not facing child-like super soldiers (clones) and force-wielding wizards (Jedi) they are terrifying and completely unstoppable in combat.

The Bad Batch was a good show overall, annoying kid clones aside. Crosshair was easily the most interesting character for me. However i just can't get on board with Disney using this show as a way to salvage the sequel trilogy. It feels to me like they hijacked the hugely anticipated epilogue of the most beloved show of them all (The Clone Wars) to pass off that there was a plan all along. But i suppose thats Star Wars 😂

The “tryout circle” for Barriss is very similar to Ashoka’s training circle at the Jedi temple in TOTJ ep5. Also Barriss might be alive because when she was being carried, her head was resting on Lyn’s shoulder and usually when characters are dead, their head is just dangling off of their arm to lifelessness instead of helplessness.
