My question is, why is the void there. If loki fixed the timelines and there is no more tuned universe. It. Makes no sense if loki gave life back ti the timeliness and kept them alive, the whole void thing is very strange to me.

I’d love to have a mid credit scene with Deadpool and She-hulk waking up next to each together after a bender and them both turning to the audience at the same time and then back at each other: “Who are you talking to?” “Who are YOU talking to??”

So here is the issue with that theory at the beginning that this Logan's world crumbled and was erased. 1. We see Logan in a bar being told by the bar keeper. "You're not welcome here". Meaning (We can assume) he is already known as mutant or X-Men in whatever place, universe, world he's on. I don't think this Wolverine's been world hoping. 2. The wording "He LET DOWN his entire world" not that his world was destroyed or erased. I think this Wolverine is a failure in the "superhero" sense. Not the "he let his world get destroyed" sense. {Also Deadpool calls him a coward and that triggers him.} 3. I think Mutant kind has been erased or destroyed by Cassandra Nova and thats why they are recruiting him because he has dealt with her in the past.

Wolverine being from the animated series would be SO cool if it ends up being Forge making that portal at the end.

I think Wolverine has never worn that costume. Deadpool picks it out for them when they go to the TVA.

Wild theory: it's Ghost Rider. In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Ghost Rider was able to open sling ring style portals. The Void seems like a perfect place for that character to appear, potentially a cameo by Nicholas Cage's version.

I think it’s the wolverine from post “the wolverine” where he gets the yellow suit in the end credits but pre “Logan” I think it’s gonna be right after whatever event killed the X-men off screen mentioned in “Logan” and he’s retired and in mourning when deadpool gets to him I think showing him having issues with his claws was a clue that this is the lead in to “Logan”

Question to which version: obviously Deadpool story is starting right after Deadpool 2. As for wolverine, I’ll say this is the Wolverine that wakes up in 2023 at the X-Mansion at the end of DoFP. This movie will be a sweet ending to that version of the Wolverine. Backup idea, this is the Logan we met in Apocalypse! As for who opened the portal, outside of America Chavez, I’ll leaning towards Magik from The New Mutants! PS: Colton needs to host more table talk like this!!

Wolverine is NOT in a different universe. The bar tender said "You're not welcome here, you're not welcome anywhere" that suggest he and everyone else is aware of who wolverine is and therfore he is far more likely to be in his own universe. Deadpool is likley looking to recruit someone to help him, and this wolverine who has notbing left to lose is the best option

I can definitely see the Wolverine in Deadpool 3 going to the MCU and then being in secret wars where he says “I can’t bear to lose everyone again” and then sacrifices his life.

Now rewatch Loki season 1 And see how in AoS, the world, you mentioned was said to have been made up of a number of different civilizations which warred themselves into desolation. Hive worked the way that Alioth did as a planetary storm with an attitude problem which as a temperamental tempest would seem beastly, however, Daniel Walker's bunker is Loki’s base of Royal Rumble when 🐊Loki bites the Mayor! And if the giant Fox logo is Battleworld or the Void or they’re the same place then it makes since that the MASSIVE HYDRA logo there would be as well! That’d be great if something like DP3 was rumoring Red Skull hot rod cause that would be enough between the lines to read since Loki was literally arrested the day he killed Coulson!

Theory: Ned gets pruned when he decides to study the mystic arts instead of attending MIT. Strikes a bargain to help Deadpool and Wolverine in return for passage back to his universe. Then the magic he's sturdying turns him into a mystic hobgoblin.

I'm 100% convinced the DP / Logan walk-out scene is meant to be on a movie studio lot. The trees, fire hydrant, they're all too close to the doors of each place to be real businesses.

Haven't heard too many people talk about the fact that their suits look like they come from the same place...I'm pretty sure that Wolverine got his suit from TVA just like Deadpools new suit. I think it would be cool to see Gateway from the comics opening the portal. He has his connections with the X-Men, but also with wolverine in particular in the AoA.

I'm thinking the mystic portal scene is towards the end of the movie. Like before the final act. Dr. Strange, Wong, or possibly America Chavez could've been trying to get in contact with Wade and Logan over the course of the movie. So they can reveal what's really going on to Wade and Logan. And then they jump through that portal and end up in the "final battle" location. It actually makes a lot of sense for it to be America, given her multiverse powers, and that she was learning the mystic arts at the end of M.O.M.

I would wager that if this Wolverine is from a universe we've seen before, it's most likely the one from Multiverse of Madness and the way that he let down his world is by not being able to stop Dr. Strange and Clea from leading it to destruction in order to save the MCU 616 from the incursion the two universes were involved in.

Those of you that are too concerned about the absence of Ryan to enjoy the content should remember that YT isn't exactly broadcast TV. These videos can be filmed all in 1 day and released over a much longer period of time.

Now I know why Domino isn't in Deadpool and Wolverine: probably, she got trapped inside Colton's TV -- which was sent to that theater, in person, TV and all -- all hail this year's luckiest man.

That portal effect is also exactly the kind of thing that Marvel is very good at tweaking in trailers, like which infinity stones Thanos had at which point of infinity war, so I think good odds are that it is America Chavez, but it may well still be a star portal in the movie.

I think that the reason we saw the Watcher in X-Men ‘97 right before the attack on Genosha is because that’s the moment that doomed that universe and the Wolverine we’ll see in this movie is actually the one from that universe that died and he ended up either in the void or 616.

Also Dr Strange opened that portal, probably to save Wolverine from the same Universe that he'd eventually destroy. That's why Professor X and them was about to kill Dr Strange but he escaped.

The America Chavez star portal take is wild. The star portal is dope and shouldn’t be replaced by the mystic arts portal. If she uses those mystic arts portals to stay within the universe, sick as hell, but her multiverse hopping portal’s should 100% stay star shaped.

Are we forgetting that Loki has the ability to open portals? Loki is now the god of all times, so the portal could clearly be coming from him.

My guess is that Cassandra took control of Alioth. Now the TVA is pruning Deadpools and Wolverines to throw at her (since they are unkillable). We start to see the seeds for Battle World. I think our Deadpool and Wolverine will just decide to take down Cassandra and the TVA and both go back to their own timelines. They leave the Void and TVA broken setting up Kang, Secret Wars, etc.

Colton I think you’re on the money with the first part. But what if when Deadpool arrives to stop the escaped wolverine, Wolverine prunes Deadpool to the void. Then the yellow suit wolverine could be another “variant” of Wolverine that had been pruned to the void prior to Deadpool He (yellow suit) could have been sent after the escaped Wolverine by the TVA before Deadpool (similar to Loki chasing a Loki) if that makes sense.

its Dr strange and Cleo saving the multiverse from the post credit scene, and they need Deadpool & Wolverine to do it....that's just one theory that crossed my mind.

What if it is Doom who is opening the portal? Doom trapped in the void at the end of time only to escape with the help of Deadpool's TemPad. Great setup for Secret Wars/Battleworld.

Yes, my best guess was America Chavez for opening the end portal. Marvel Studios has been introducing many new characters thus far, but there needs to be some connecting tissue between the movies and TV shows going forward. They need us to care about watching each of the movies again. I think many of the newly introduced characters have been forgotten at this point because there haven't been season 2's or sequels for newly introduced characters yet.

Hot take: with all the X3 Easter eggs Pyro the Golden Gate Bridge and several other minor characters it leads me to believe that Wolverine here is the one that DIDN’T kill Jean and their universe was pruned and left as a dying branch and everyone knows and that’s why Logan is shunned. He didn’t kill Jean. That was his event. And this is now a drifting dying branch from the Kang days. America Chavez is probably the one opening a portal. If anyone with a sling ring could it would be the wizard in training lol who can travel between universes 🤷‍♂️

If they're moving the story along, which they should, then it would probably be Strange & Clea opening the portals because they were last seen going into a portal.

I wonder if the mystic portal leads to the battle at the end of Endgame, and we'll get a whole insert sequence with Deadpool and Wolverine action-comedy chasing Cassandra Nova or another villain thru the Endgame battlefield with little moments of Deadpool and Wolvie accidentally aiding the MCU against Thanos but in way where they don't get noticed. And the sequence ends with them chasing the villain back to the void.

Love the Forge concept Let it be Forge

Wolvie's suit reminds me of the suit from "Wolverine and the X-Men." There's variations of this one in the comics, but it's not the classic suit. I'd love to see the brown and tan one onscreen.

I think it's Cassandra Nova or someone with her group that is casting it and they are just jumping in it to chase or get away from them. I really hope they see some Lokis, and the end is Kid Loki with the Alligator Loki coming into 616 universe! That'd be so cool. America Chavez is a good one though, could be cool. Maybe she is there to help them with their situation so they can help her with hers, which is a giant universal war.
