VIDEO DESCRIPTION
In this game-changing episode, Zack from CoreXcell delves into the pivotal strategies for correcting pronated feet and knee valgus through targeted hip exercises and specific foot drills. Unraveling the mystery of whether hip weakness leads to foot pronation or vice versa, this video promises to shed light on the intrinsic connection between foot alignment and hip strength. Witness the transformation of Nick, whose journey from significant knee valgus and foot pronation to perfect alignment exemplifies the effectiveness of these techniques. Zack's personal narrative of overcoming one of the worst cases of anterior pelvic tilt adds a compelling layer to the discussion, emphasizing the importance of addressing both hip and foot mechanics for comprehensive postural correction.
The episode is packed with insightful demonstrations, including a unique exercise for the glute minimus, crucial for correcting hip imbalance and enhancing knee alignment. This approach not only straightens the feet but also cultivates a stronger arch, showcasing exercises that specifically target foot inversion and the post-tibialis muscle, essential for those suffering from flat feet. Zack underscores the critical role of the adductors in opening up the knees, offering viewers a glimpse into advanced techniques available through the CoreX12 rehab app. For anyone struggling with foot pronation, knee valgus, or looking to improve their overall posture and lower body strength, this video serves as a comprehensive guide to achieving balanced and effective movement patterns. Don't miss out on this opportunity to transform your approach to rehab and fitness, and remember to like, subscribe, and dive into the detailed exercises provided in the video's web app for a total body correction.

I wonder if this would apply to me… 53 and I was runner til last year when plantar fasciitis attacked my feet & began causing knot knees & knee pain. PT put me on bed rest with loads of PT but now the pain is so bad I can no longer run (and gained 30 lbs). Just had hip MRI & waiting on results but ortho believes it’s all in my hips :-(
so was he forcing his knees to go in or are his feet still pronated? Because i can forcefully hold my feet upright to have an arch but when i relax my foot my ankle rolls back in. Do i have to hold it whenever i walk or will exercising it make it naturally arched?

Hey I’m currently doing the rehab app myself & started doing the exercises as shown. I also have anterior pelvic tilt but was wondering if I should be arching my back slightly in the glute knee drop exercises to feel it more in my glutes or Is this not necessary? Just from your anterior pelvic tilt video you said about popping your hips forward & arching your back to get deep into the muscle it’s confusing because spinal alignment isn’t discussed in your app thanks :)

Good question and points. As long as you are doing the knee drop along with the glute fly. It will be fine. Pass those tests and watch the end of glute fly video i talk about how if your arching your back, your still creating internal hip rotation by tilting hips forward as u lift. Also test your abs it will have an affect, but not the end all be all like people say for the ant tilt.

@Lxnkzi its funny coz i went to more than 7 of them (over 50 visits in total, not kidding) when i had a backproblem... its funny how i fixed the problem myself since they didnt help. When you use ur body in a natural way you use a lot of small muscles, including this one in this exercise. Hi, I watched your videos and I liked them very much. Very useful information. Thanks. I have a few questions. My son is 13 years old. He has been playing basketball since he was 8 years old. He is a licensed player in the club. He loves basketball and wants to be a professional player in the future. He is also very successful in swimming. His feet are a little slow in basketball. He wants to increase his speed and jump. But there is a flat feet( over pronate) problem. It is not a completely flat sole, but when you lift your foot, a pit is formed and it flattens when you press the ground. As far as I've heard, there is this problem with Useyin Bolt in running and kevin durent in basketball. My question is, does this problem prevent him from running, speeding and jumping? Can this obstacle be overcome? Can he play in the professional basketball league with a flat sole? Should he use insoles that will create a foot pit in his shoes? We would be very happy if you could answer all these questions.

He can't walk because of this. We tried everything exept these types of workouts what do you think should we try it? No pressure or responsibilityes on you though
@isihernandez9752
2 жыл бұрын
Hi, a physiotherapist here. A cerebral palsy is a very different issue, and way more complex than this. Some muscles are spastic and retracted and need to be relaxed and stretched, the antagonist would most likely be weak and overstretched... His nervous system needs to learn the proper movement patterns and postural schemes... and it's not that simple like doing a couple of exercises. It always depends on the person, but in some cases, the spasticity and retractions are so intense than they need to use botilimic toxin (botox) to treat them. In other cases they even use surgery to elongate them. Sometimes they change tendon insertions of some muscles to improve or just allow some joints movements... I mean, it's a very complex issue, and I don't know what do you have exactly tried, nor what choices and resources you have there, but if you can, I'd suggest a neurologist, obviously, but also a physiotherapist specialized in neurology. Anyway, the progress of each case is very variable, some cases progress better while some others not much. Anyway, I don't think you find a solution on youtube, but I understand the situation.
@moreplates4782
2 жыл бұрын
@@isihernandez9752 appreciate you taking your time. Yes we tried botox like 10 times and it didn't work also we tried the surgery which made situation much worse i think he just has to grow up he is 12 and can't think about that kind of stuff he just plays games and vlogs on KZread. He's a little smartass boy but is very lazy. I feel bad for him and if you can tell me if there's any other ways I'll be really happy. Thank you
@isihernandez9752
2 жыл бұрын
@@moreplates4782 well, the main part of the treatment is physiotherapy. Botox and/or surgery are used in some cases, but physiotherapy is always essential. Other than that, there's not much you can do, except some orthopaedics and technical aids if they are required. Concerning physiotherapy, if it's possible and there is someone avaliable by your area, it's always better if he/she is specialized in neurology and masters methods like Bobbat, Vojta, Perffeti... It's not that a non-specialized physiotherapist can't treat this issue at all, but there is a big difference. On the other hand, the attitude of the patient is also important. I don't know if your brother has some cognitive impairement as well as motor one, if he is frustrated or if, as you said (and you obviously know better), he's just a lazy 12 years old boy. But his cooperation is essential in any case. Anyway, I don't think there's much more to do, except what I mentioned before. There are different ways of doing it, but that's it, essentialy. Don't expect miracles, anyway, they don't exist. Cerebral palsy is a complex thing, and as I told you before, even with a proper treatment, some people have a decent progress while some others don't. It depends on the degree and extension of the brain damage. And even in the best cases, it's always a long process and there will always be sequelles left. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but the best thing you can do is find a neuro specialized physiotherapist by your area, and be prepared for a long term treatement. I don't know where are you from and if you have a decent public health care system there or if you have to rely completely on a private health system, and in this case, if you can afford it for long term. For me, as a public health care worker, it's very frustrating to see how in many places your health depends on your wealth. Hope it helps a bit anyway.
