I own ducks and chickens and normal people don’t realize that ducks and chicken are just like pets! Those animals being took there a thrown around like that breaks my heart! I’m glad Amelia got away!

So very sad. Great rescue for Amelia. ❤.

No one deserves the life people forced on these innocent creatures. It is truly a kind act to have rescued Amelia, but what a miserable situation. People who feel compelled to help are stuck draining their resources for a whole life forced into dependency and who, do to our genetic manipulations, have doomed her and her kind to a painful death shortly after their intended execution date. End this horror, be vegan.

Thank all of you for what you are doing. We have backyard chickens and fully understand the cruelty. I believe in karma and don't worry; someone is watching all that goes on down here.

I do eat all sorts of meat but this place doesnt look like it treats chicken well so good joib

I am an omnivore, I have nothing against anyone that chooses to live differently, I believe that we all have the same feeling however, there HAS to be a better way, there is absolutely no need for the cruelty poor animals live and how they are treated when slaughtered. I believe that animals can be raised, loved, humanely euthanized before being processed. Our world’s wasteful over consumption is sickening. I have Native American roots that tie to the Blackfeet native Americans, where we believe in spirit animals and that their sacrifice should mean something. We don’t have to give up eating meat, dairy,eggs or fish, we NEED to change the practices in which they are raised.

I also found an issue with his narrative speaking to the worker. The dude apparently didn't even speak fluent English. More than likely low-income and just trying to provide, in fact industries like slaughter-houses love to take advantage of these exact people. Many are paid nothing to work long hours, just to be criticized by animal rights groups despite not being the main perpetuators. I'm a vegetarian myself, but recognize that the narrative he pushed wasn't exactly well-rounded.

You sound like my dad before he got sick--called chickens walking drumsticks. Thankfully his health is better now and he hasn't had meat or much dairy in over a year. Anyway have a good one

Im not a vegan but it still hurts to see animals getting murdered especially chickens i dont eat nothing with chicken i actually own 2 chickens irl if anyone kills them ill kill them. Anyways dont be mad at for me not being vegan if u are vegan :D anyways save every animal u can from being slaughtered

"Why are you paying to make this happen?" Because humans are omnivores and several vitamins and minerals can mostly be obtained by eating meat. Also fake meat doesnt have the taste and nutrition of a real meat. So we will keep paying to keep the meat industry alive. Because we love meat.
