The bravery of those bulls are what life is all about. The will to live. Every creature on earth has it and it should be respected. These bulls are my heroes and so are every compassionate person who helped get them out of that hell-hole abattoir including Ellie and her husband who took them to their sanctuary and gained their trust.

Yesterday I had to stop being friends with someone who kept telling me to get rid of my animals who are the only family I have Because I’m on VERY hard times because of a human being who betrayed me Can you see the irony here? I’m not like most human beings are nowadays and I will not betray the love and trust of those counting on me I told that guy to go get rid of his kids and he pushed himself even further out of my life by saying that kids and animals are 2 different things Yeah. The animals I rescued didn’t choose to be abused by humans And this human is unemployed and unmarried and keeps making babies he doesn’t support A human who is irresponsible is telling me to be a deadbeat just like he is This is why I don’t associate with many humans these days

It breaks my heart, cows are so intelligent and aware what is happening to them , I have seen it with my own eyes at 11 yrs old in a slaughterhouse. They watched how their friends are being in slaughtered, the terror they experience is absolutely horrific . What these people did is absolutely amazing! Blessings to them

@@neonblkhole I happened to live close to one and I walked inside and saw the whole thing and I am glad I did as it woke me up to the barbaric ways they treat animals . As an adult I did more research in the treatment or rather abuse of animals for consumption. It's utterly horrific everywhere , no matter where you live

A friend of a friend worked on a slaughterhouse roof; he was traumatised by the smells/noises and hasn't eaten meat since... How on earth could you even work in one of those places?

That was adorable to see Chico grooming his brethren. HIGH FIVE to the Gentle Barn!!

It's stories like this that make me glad my hamburgers, for nearly the past 20 years, come from wheat and soy, not cows. I know society doesn't think we should see these lovely creatures as anything but a steak in potentia, but I believe that ALL animals deserve to be treated with respect, even chickens and cows. Thanks for saving these awesome brothers (and all the other animals you help)!

Gentle Barn is absolutely genuine in their love for animals, of all kinds. I use to think it was silly, but they are completely dedicated to any animals that have suffered or need their freedom.

Stories like this prove all types of animals respond to love and kindness.

If people gave animals a chance, they'd realize they're all very much like us or what most consider to be "dog-like". Spend time with them. We consider them dog-like because they're the only animal we've given a chance due to how they help us. Cats can loving & caring as well, as well as protective of their people against threats. Non-human animals are all just being themselves, with feelings of love, compassion, passion, & fear just like the rest of us. We're all animals, & all individuals with unique personalities who seek fun, comfort, love, & security.

Yes I found a kitty cat that was only a chitin now when I start crying or when I'm upset Mia she comes up and starts licking my leg or licking my arm or pain at my face to try to comfort me and that's a cat Mia is her name

This brought me into tears. They have been so brave to change their destiny at any costs... they understood what was happening in that place and tried everything to avoid it. They asked for life and they were listened. Amazing, beautiful, intelligent, sensitive animals.

I was a vegetarian for 3 years and I stopped because I was getting weak. It was the cruelty imposed on these animals that made quit eating meat. I working on going back to that lifestyle. I still fowl and fish. :(

It's just so important for people to understand how important family is to herd animals like cows & horses. They can't speak so it's our job to understand this and to never be the cause of a separation between family members. This is a wonderful story with a great message.

Those animals were abused and sensed/smelt death and didn't want to be next, luckily their angel saw them and came to their aid. The time and patience she took to load them, so that it was their choice was beautiful to watch, such overstanding, kindness and sensitivity is rare. As much as we all cheer for these animals in these rare instances of escape, we rarely pause to think of what, or who, they are escaping from. They are escaping from us, the 90% of American who eat meat. It took me a long time to realize this connection, to realize I was the one they were running from, and I was the one who was subjecting them to such horrors in the first place. We need to remember that EVERY animal wants to escape being tortured and killed.

Don't support cheese or milk either if you don't want to contribute harm to these creatures. Cattle are killed for it. It can't be feasibly produced without routinely inseminating the cows and killing the calves.

This video made me cry. I once wrote a poem about a cow's last thoughts about the humans in her life as she moved through the monstrous depravity of the slaughterouse. *This brings it to life, but here ANGELS FLEW in and CHANGED the OUTCOME. These people didn't just care. THEY HELPED. THEY LOVED. THEY STILL DO.*

It's really sad they were aware and understood what was going to happen to them. The circle of life is cruel and unforgiving we eat to survive but I am glad these angels got a chance to live a happy and good life!

I hate people who do not understand that animals have feelings. It is so obvious that they feel fear, and anxiety, and obviously Love. It was really difficult to watch the first part. I almost fast forwarded through that bit. Then, to see the one bull obviously running to protect is truly amazing. Wow. I am so thankful that I get to see these beautiful stories from Dodo. They grant me a sense of renewal. Like many, I work around some very difficult to deal with people. My boss like so many is neither intelligent, or capable. So, watching these rescue videos really are an assist to my mental and spiritual health.

God bless you for everything you do. Thank you for saving those cows, they found their purpose in life.

It's gratifying to hear someone make the explicit connection between traumatized, rescued animals, and traumatized humans. I think a lot of people with trauma histories watch rescue videos as a way to heal and imagine a positive future for themselves. And so many people involved in animal rescue are themselves trauma survivors, and understand on a very deep level the importance of rescue.

I normally don't tear up at these videos but it was so heartbreaking watching them try not to get caught. Thank you For saving them and loving them 🧡

This is exactly why I’m living a vegan lifestyle. So that one day beautiful souls such as these will not need to be rescued, they will be free, respected and loved for their gentleness and their love they have to give. I really needed to see this. It is extremely heartbreaking as an empathic individual who sees these innocent creatures only being seen as a commodity that ends up on most peoples plates or in dog food or in products that humans consume. Then stories like this help me believe in hope for the future. Blessings to this woman for taking action and having the commitment to be a part of the solution. Much Aloha 🌺🙏🏻🤙🏻

If we really are at the "top" of the food chain, then we have an even greater moral obligation to not torture, abuse, exploit, kill, and consume other animals because we know that we are causing them harm. You are morally culpable for killing animals because you know that they suffer and their deaths are unnecessary. Don't try to act like being a human somehow excuses us of moral responsibility toward other living creatures. It doesn't.

Cows have that power . They can love like mother

And yet they showed no aggressiveness toward humans in any of the video footage... All of their actions were AVOIDING the humans - not challenging or charging the humans. Gentle creatures with gentle souls. So glad they were rescued and given a home where they are loved and cared for and are at peace. Not only are they living, they are helping heal humans experiencing difficulty in their lives. A Beautiful Story! ❤️

Yes i hope vegan, because vegetarians still eat/drink dairy. And the dairy industry is the most horrific, and these milk cows are raped and when give birth their babies are taken from them and the babies are also tortured or sent to the slaughter house for someone’s veal plate. Truly sad what we humans do to these innocent beings. These poor beings have not committed any crime and yet we enslave them and exploit them. 💔

This broke my heart how cruel they were being run down with vehicles, etc. Thank the Lord you were able to get them to safety and work with them to were they finally gained your trust. And they in turn began healing brokenhearted people who needed healing and trust. What a lovely story. Sorry they were de-horned at a young age, as well - I think cattle should retain their horns whenever possible as it's part of their natural anatomy, gives them dignity and the ability to defend themselves against predators.

Very few predator will attack cows (at least where I'm from). And sometimes, de-horning them is necessary because cows can be very rough with each other. Due to the hierarchy in a herd, some will shove others aside, including babies, to assert dominance. I've unfortunately seen a few cows with deep wounds on their flanks and belly, caused by a dominant cow who hit them with its horns. Not pretty... But, that's just my opinion !

@@Abi-chanFictionFan millions of farmers in Asia are doing just fine with massive herds with horns including my father so why is it a problem for the westerners?

I was "kissed" by 5 cows and 3 calves at a cheese farm in Gouda, Netherlands last month. It was the most wonderful feeling.❤❤❤

I gave up beef 8 months ago for reasons like this. Cows are beautiful sentient animals

I would love to visit a place like this one day, I know it would be just what I needed while on my journey to healing incredibly deep wounds. Thank you for sharing this, it made me smile and cry. ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful Story. I am in awe at the intelligence of that decision made by the leader to even decide to do this. I think we never realized the level of the intelligence that is there. This is wonderful!
