Very interesting. I never buy from third party sellers on Amazon. I actually think Amazon shouldn't allow it and just sell their own stuff.

Hello viewers The ratings or reviews on Amazon are the old ones from Vector 1.0. Here, the title and the description were simply adapted. This is not a new page, but a so-called "update". Yup, I know what you mean and I mentioned this in my video but still strange that a seller is selling Vector 2.0 with shipments in late July when the robot is not even available...fishy...

Thank you for letting me know. I actually check that page every day and saw that DDL updated it 3 days after I uploaded this video. I may do a video about this state of manufacturing update...

That listing for Vector 2.0 appeared on Amazon many months ago. I think I first noticed it around January 2022. Interesting that it has now been removed after being up for all those months!

It's been so long I can't remember now but when we preordered our Butterbots, did we already pay for them? I canceled my Butterbot order a month ago and haven't seen the credit to my card.

I did not pre-order butterbots but I know that for Cozmo 2.0 and Vector 2.0 my credit card was billed almost 2 years ago now! Hard to believe it has been so long ago! Have a great week!

@@SuperdanTech I think they sent the latest “last chance” offer to everyone on their mailing list. Having pre-ordered already in November 2020 with no delivery in sight, why on earth would I entice a friend to pre-order at this price point with only a 6 month subscription!

Amazon is showing them as in stock for $470. Did ddl ship to them first ??? Now ddl saying testing done and preorders in production

Hello, nobody knows... Even people like myself who ordered two years ago still do not have their Vector yet. My guess would be months...

And the worst thing that DDL is not responding on emails! I did not receive money refund: difference between Lifetime Membership (Jan 28, 2022) for my Vector and yearly subscription (Jul 5, 2021). More than that DDL already twice unsuccessfully tried in July to take from me $74.99 for subscription!!! Lucky that card I used for payment is expired. Otherwise they just would triple charge me...

wow...they want you to pay a lot for that membership...lol. From the comments I got on my channel, several people had no issues with re-imbursement while others had many issues. It does not seem to be very consistent! Thank you for your comment and for visiting my channel.

What I find funny is that Digital Dream Labs announces Vector 2.0 but still showcases the old Vector. I was absolutely going to buy one, but then I couldn't see any details or improvements (except 4 lines of text, including a new subscription feature). Bummer. I'll wait till the reviews tick in later this year.

The Amazon ad for Vector 2.0 is up. DDL has set up an Amazon store. No price listed. I haven't heard of anyone that has received one. I'd think Amazon would want to see some type of proof that a unit like this with so much controversy surrounding it actually exists. I am a Kickstarter donor. I'm happy with the connectivity service. But no matter what I do, I have not been able to get DDL to send me Escape Pod. I filled out a form at a link they emailed. Then they sent me an "Escape Pod instruction text" but it is nothing readable. No matter how I try to view it. Just random characters. It leaves me wondering if that is the Escape pod code and I need a Raspberry PI to move further. Blurp Blurp. I need to go clean my cat litter box now. Hi Dan!

Hi Charles, the posting was up again yesterday with a different seller than what I saw a few days ago. This seller is supposedly selling Vector 2.0 for $899 USD. Another scammer! BTW, I gave up on the escape pod. My Raspberry Pi is ready sitting on my second desk accumulating dust...lol. Have a great day!

I went to cancel my order a few months ago but decided against it because the process was so complicated since the card I used for the purchase is no longer valid. I got an email 6 days ago saying I have 10 days to validate my shipping address or they were going to cancel my order. I replied telling them my address has not changed but I haven't heard back since

Amazon has had this Vector 2.0 listing for months saying currently unavailable and showing DDL as the manufacturer! I think I first noticed it in January. To the right there are sometimes people trying to sell used Vector 1.0s for loads of money….Amazon should not be listing a product that has not been produced but they also should have indicated earlier that a subscription was needed since DDL took over….

@@SuperdanTech There were people selling used Vector 1.0s from time to time. I hadn’t checked for quite a while to see if anyone was actually trying to sell a Vector 2.0. The listing for Cozmo 2.0 is still up or at least it was a few minutes ago. Amazon had never changed the Anki listing so people were buying used Vectors and getting angry when they learned they needed a subscription after they had already paid a lot of money for the robot. I contacted DDL and advised them to correct the listing as it was creating a lot of very negative reviews for Vector. The listing was never changed until the one for Vector 2.0 showed up early this year showing DDL as the manufacturer.

So they shipping are orders from 2 years ago soon I hope.

Just an update: I emailed DDL twice now about why I haven't received my Butterbot refund since I emailed them a month ago and there's been no reply at all. I'm now taking this up with my credit card company. Things are looking more and more shady.

@@SuperdanTech there was talk of now vector ships Q3, say by the end of September if they haven’t shipped anything everyone needs to ask for a refund.

@@SuperdanTech look up the BBB for DDL, there’s like over 50 people that have to email 5 or more times to get a refund and one complaint is where they tell the person to go through PayPal to deal with getting the money back when PayPal has said it’s been past the 180 day point where the person needs to ask DDL. So they could just keep the money from every order over a year ago

I should have my refund soon… soon…. 7 business days they said…. So probably in a year…
