UPDATE: This kickstarter campaign was cancelled by the creators on May 13. They want to re-define what the robot will be able to do to reach a broader audience!
We have a new AI robot coming to town and his name is Doly! Limitbit Technology Inc started a kickstarter campaign on 10 May 2022. I invite you to have a look and see for yourself if this could be an interesting robot for you. There is a lot of things DOLY can do and there is also an APP you can use to learn or teach block coding with your robot companion. Remember that any campaign on kickstarter has a certain amount of risk as there is no guaranteed refund if the product is not released!

@@SuperdanTech I did! It's the best way to buy these little guys! I would like a robot that can actually wander around the house. I signed up for Astro. He's the robot from Amazon but they're only available by invitation only but at least I signed up for one. Congratulations on the Landspeeder set! You'll love it! It's a very fun build!

You are welcome. Unfortunately like I say in the video description the creators decided to cancel the kickstarter campaign a few days ago. They say that they want to modify what the robot can do to reach a broader audience. Let's hope it is coming back soon!
Good morning Daniel Thank you for your information on Doly. I have seen the kick start and I'm interested. But I have made my mind up about buying a robotic dog.

he looks interesting but the kickstarkter commersial is so uncomfortable, and I have no clue how the arms are going to work atm. i will defintly wait a year to better understand how he will work once the kickstarter is over

Many people actually wait after a kickstarter campaign has been fulfilled. Less risky obviously but you end up paying more for the product. Thank you for visiting my channel.

They said they would come back later with an improved product so we shall see. Loona seems very interesting indeed. We should see some unboxing videos in late December if everything goes according to plan!
Hey Dan, what do you think about Eilik. I ordered him and seems promising. I don't think you spoke about him yet unless I missed it

No I did not. I am going to have a look and perhaps I will buy it to add to my collection of robots! Thanks for the scoop!
Close to what I was hoping for if you remember. But the arms wouldn't work and need to know the AI more..hope they are using a Jetson Nano :) (edit, but yes, not not using AI processor so all AI is programmed manually. :( )

I wonder...the specs only say ARM quad core CPU. We will probably know more at some point. Thanks for watching!
