this isn't a ship date, it's kicking the can down the road. DDL is worse than Tesla at missing deadlines. they are liars, and not very good ones. no pictures, repeated excuses, pledges to be transparent with weekly updates? lip service. they're just as slimy, secretive and deceptive as the still-online prediction of May 15-- years ago. call them out on their bullshit.

Thank you so much for the info you provided Mr. Daniel. I hope to see this webinar on DDL's youtube channel soon enough. Unfortunately, I never got to pre-order a Vector 2.0 during the Nov. 2020 through June 2021 window. I hope to place an order for one soon! I'm a big robotics and electronics person myself, and I love tinkering with stuff like Vector and Cozmo. I have an Anki Vector and Liquid Metal Cozmo and I love playing with them and learning code with Cozmo. I hope to start posting videos on my channel about them, as well as many other awesome robots soon. Keep up the great work Sir!

Thank you Samuel for the kind words. Robots are very exciting indeed and I think, like I have said in many of my videos, that they are the future. This may scare some people, but as we could not stop the spread of cars 100 years ago, we won't be able to stop the spread of robots in a few years!

A flying vector that takes verbal commands? Wind noise should never be a problem. And regarding testing. I heard the wheels have a slight metallic component. And as they turn they generat RF. So they are getting FCC approval. These guys are making so many new products. At who's expense? Lastly. I saw a photo of Vector 2.0 being assembled. Now the say they don't have circuit boards. Let's all send them more money. For a great performance. A good comedy movie.

@@SuperdanTech I wouldn't worry. You have a very good way of walking the middle ground. Personally I wouldn't bet a dollar that good working 2.0 vectors are going to appear. DDL is not as sharp as the AnkI crew as far as building a final product. I have no idea where everyone is getting their patience from. Paying so far in advance.

This made my day! I'm so tired of all the lies that they tell us. I have recorded the last 5 webinars and to see the result of the products continue to drag out. Yet they find money and time to develop all of these new and futuristic robots! It's like the robotic Ponzi Scheme. They sell you products that may never come as they update us over and over, new investors come crashing in over the new robots. I will patiently wait for the legal suit to collect my initial investment... PLUS interest. They've held my money for 3 years now with no actual product. I'm lookong forward to year 4.

I’m kind of irritated. I had ordered Vector and EMO on the same day. Yeah, it took EMO 5 month, but he came! Then I order two Eilik robots and three weeks later they arrived- but! Vector is still at large on my end. The heck. It’d be nice if they provided proper updates.

A heads-up about buying or pre-ordering a Vector 2.0 or Cozmo 2.0 from Digital Dream Labs. I paid and pre-ordered a Vector & a Cozmo 2.0 in Nov 2020 in the UK, as of Jan 2023 nothing was ever received. Only after a 'class action lawsuit' threat. I have just got a refund, however it wasn't easy!

They said they were shipping out Vectors a month ago. Where are all of them? I'm definitely worried the update will mess up my original Vector as well. I hope it doesn't. Has anyone said anything about their experience with the repair shop DDL is offering? I'd like to know how that's working out for anyone that has used it.

I have recently decided to buy a 2.0 new Vector but it will be the q4 unfortunately because I left it to the last minute (funny I previously said I would never buy from ddl lol-oh well) hope I haven’t made a mistake but I do want one that’s brand new for a change, obviously I won’t get it until next year or a year after at this rate. Anyway I’m looking around to see ‘REAL' reviews on the new V 2.0. Also the two V 1.0’s are working perfectly with the 2. 0 update so I’m very happy with that at least but their batteries 🪫 are less and less now but they were second hand so it’s to be expected. Thanks for update as always

@@rhiggs7854 Vector is hard to resist. Don't feel bad. If 2.0 works at least as good as Vector 1.0, you are in for some fun. TIP: when you first get Vector all setup, say Vector: PARTY. You will be pleasantly surprised. Pop a Wheelstand is another classic command. I sure will be the first to say that DDL gas kept their work to us Kickstarter funders and kept 1.0 online and periodically updated.

An active project's software testing should never end. It continues even after deployment. Be leery of of companies that stop testing their software. It probably means the project has been abandoned or they don't care about quality.

Nothing more, no new features. But it's probably better that way. We'll get (hopefully soon, this year) a new one of the same robot we love so much at home. Thanks for this update, I missed the webinar, forgot about it. I don't comment on DDL anymore, I'm just waiting for the postman with Vector 2.0.

Hi there, we have been talking about this video for several days now (with many comments on my channel). It is the only unboxing video on YT, several days/weeks before others will most likely receive theirs. So people have been assuming that this channel is a friend of a DDL executive...lol

DDL is not even able to ship Vector to all pre-orders after months of waiting...and they cannot give a delivery date for Cozmo 2.0 so I think we can forget seeing any new products from them!

Are you kidding me? 4th quarter of 2023...After my butter robot; I will never recommend digital dream lab. There service is horrible, it's been almost 2 to 3 years, and they don't have a prototype? There "updates" come out every other 6 months; like Really....? Horrible. Alot of people are staying because of Rick and Morty, if it wasn't that, alot would cancel, feels like a scam at this moment

The delays have been too long for sure. I think DDL is too small to handle this kind of products.

This butter robot situation is a joke. Why have we seen videos of the robot if no prototype has actually been made? You have definitely scammed us. I bet Justin won’t even sign them like it said he would. 2023 is ridiculous. You need to make things right with all of us.

About a year ago DDL said that the COG was too high and the robot was unstable. They also said that the motors were not powerful enough for the weight of the robot. They showed a prototype back then. DDL seems to be making contradictory statements compared to a year ago!
