I've heard 100 different wrestlers bury Michaels for this particular spot in their Summerslam match, yet the one person that has the most legitimate right to bury Michaels for it just shrugs it off. Major respect for Vader to essentially say "I messed the spot up, and we moved on" like it was no big deal.

everytime I hear about misawas legendary chain smoking habit, then il watch one of his 40min+ main event matches it blows my minds...u can tell he gets blown up halfway thru just by how he is breathing n how red he gets, even so he still manages to keep that pace throughout the 2nd half of his matches like he's the terminater!!..all the matches with kobashi thru mid and late 90s were worked with misawas smoker lungs which is quite amazing. they all ran 40 mins+ without entrances.

On the big stage WWF realm back in the day, HBK vs. Vader had MAJOR POTENTIAL! The smaller guys who could do it all in ring against a stud like Vader who could dot it all in ring for his size! HBK at his peak was flat out a tremendous TOTAL PACKAGE! He was a freak athlete who didn't play to that ability TOO MUCH! He also mixed in the technical shit and psychology on top of it. As a heel, he would throw in the crafty heel tactics on top of of it. HBK at his best could be Flair, Steamboat, and Macho IN ONE PACKAGE!!! In my book, those were three types of stars that companies NEEDED to have in the main event. To go with main event-box office stars who weren't elite in ring. U get that total balance that way!

I love Shawn but he was an fucking ass back than he made up for it years later putting talent over but Vader deserved better tbh and he would of been the ONLY man to be IWJP,WCW and WWF Champion man the biggest what if in wrestling

Listen everyone agrees Shawn was an asshole back then but nobody knows what it’s like to have the pressure he has on him especially at that time like for example the rock and Austin were champion when wwf was on top that’s the point hbk was champion when it was being beat by wcw al of that weight was on him he lead the company and is one of if not the fucking best performer ever in wrestling he was an asshole sometimes but he was the best and had this thing called passion that is something these guys today could use and learn from

I completely disagree about Rick Flare even being someone that could be taken seriously 😜. The guy is a complete jerk. Rick flare was like the Benny Hine, televangelist of wrestling. He was just there for entertainment. But I personally did not like him at all as a wrestler. But as an ordinary guy, I think he was great with his whole look, voice and charm. He would have been more suited as a business man I think 😉. I certainly wouldn't put Shawn at the top of the list either. Shawn was just an arrogant pretty boy, who mainly had one classic gimmick and move, which was his 'back kick'. I think 'triple H' should be up in the top list, as well as 'the rock', 'stone cold', because they truly had the complete package of being the life of the party, the distinctive voice, original wrestling moves, leadership, and entertaining value. Even if I don't agree with the bad influences of such entertainment respectfully.

the way he hides the original account on how he was scared of Michaels is exactly how Michaels hides he was scared of the Undertaker at WM14 both trying to make sure that it was all professional. Nah! Real backstage stories say otherwise
