Using Light Tackle and Jigs for Tautog! (simple how to)

In this Video I bring you out fishing on my kayak to fish for Tautog using light inshore tackle to go after Tautog using jigs. One may ask, "why use light tackle for Tautog", when they are such a strong fish? Well, because it's fun! there isn't a better way to enjoy the bulldog fighting nature of a tautog in my opinion. Some days jigs will out fish rigs with conventional hooks and sinkers. Some call it "finesse fishing" for tautog. Anyway, it is fun and I show you some helpful and simple direction on how to catch your first tautog on a jig whether it be from shore, boat, or Kayak. Enjoy!
