What Ty is doing isn’t just losing him fans/respect. It’s losing Joe Gibbs, the man, respect. I’ve admired Joe Gibbs for decades from the time he coached my home town football team. Then I admired him for going into NASCAR and building a dominant team at the top level of the sport. And all the while I’ve admired him mostly for the kind of man he is. Or the kind of man I thought he was. But now I no longer see him in the same light. I see him as a man who is enabling and encouraging a child to act in ways Joe KNOWS are wrong but won’t do anything about because that child is his grandson.

I'm not sure how to feel about modern NASCAR. I grew up watching in the 80s, 90s and through the mid-2000s. A lot of the older drivers were aggressive at times, but there seemed to be more class and respect amongst the drivers than there is now. When I watch the driver interviews and post race coverage, it feels like NASCAR is full of tik tokers and twitters; those people who say and do stuff just for the likes and retweets, not caring or respecting anyone else around them. My problem with Ty winning wasn't that he dumped another driver for the win, but that it was his teammate and that he wasn't very respectful about it afterwards. If I was a team owner and I had a car in a position to make it to the final 4 and my second car (who was already in) wrecked my first car, I'd be pissed.

I want to buy some Ty Gibbs T-shirts so during races on TV I can sit there, give the shirt a little rub an say, "Come on Ty, you can do it, hit the wall." The second race I did that back in the day was with Jeff Gordon. That was during the night race at Richmond and that's the night Rusty Wallace took him out. My wife knew what I was doing and when he crashed we looked at each other in shock. We still have that Gordon shirt.

There was only one "Intimidator" in NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt Sr. He could ruin a driver's race without even touching their race car. Ty Gibbs could never be another Dale Earnhardt Sr. He's an arrogant little punk.

If he does get taken out it is now of him and he does have it coming to him. What is actually more concerning to me is that we all know that Joe Gibbs is a devote Christian. And Tye just about if he actually did not broke just about every one of the 10 Commandments.

Where’s the million dollar fines, where’s the suspension for the remainder of the season??? He intentionally wrecked his own teammate so he could get the win. If you’re going to unleash all hell on bubba, you’d better goddamned well discipline Ty Gibbs the same way. Fair is fair!!!!! …

Ty didn't pick a fight against Jones, he didn't walk across an active track without medical escort, he didn't shove an official (whereas Wallace did) and he finished the race, therefore not needing an ambulance ride.

Hooking someone in the right rear is just a flat out dangerous thing to do and it's not tolerated by drivers. There's a difference between the two incidents.

A typical Joe Gibbs driver I won't even go into all of it but when you hit somebody going into a corner you're going to crash them every time if you hit somebody in the center coming off they got a very good chance almost 100% chance of controlling the car but going in they're dead you cannot recover a stock car or any race car entering corner off the throttle

Man I tell you what...Ya'll know I am die hard KB and CBell fan and I am almost ill NOBODY is celebrating CB's walk off wins TWICE!!! But if I was that #19 I would flat out be telling Joe Had a blast BUT you better know TODAY, The #54 WILL NOT win if I can get to him. Flat Out--your grandson will NOT win. I would then tell Jr. I will wreck him so be ready should this somehow get you dragged in. Hell, I would even call all my sponsor's and say it may get ugly BUT IF I can wreck him your company WILL have coverage for decades to come.. And lastly it makes me sick I have to get behind JGR because of CBell!!! I am so over JGR this year from about April to now..............
