I’ve never liked this kids attitude. This example sums it all up. Called out Berry and they proceeded to do the exact same thing - they are both rookies, but Gibbs has way more races in this car. He should keep his mouth closed, until he’s been in cup for at least 5 years and gains way more expertise to call anybody out. When TV showed the car destroyed because he got impatient getting back to pit road was the icing on the cake.

NO, he has not impressed me at all, I personally don't see him changing and growing with NASCAR, maybe there's something else he can do, but being a successful race car driver is not it.

I think he is doing great in his rookie year, he has stayed low out of the spotlight all year it seems. People are always going to be critical of him he will never escape that but as long as he doesn't focus on them and stays focus at what he wants to accomplish he will be fine.

Honestly I'd say Ty Gibbs has been doing a pretty solid job so far this year, a handful of top 10s and he's been running towards the front lately. Hasn't really been involved in anything dumb so far either. As a rookie, that's all he needs to do, keep it clean and consistent. He's a rookie, he is bound to make some mistakes like shredding the flats at Kansas
