This was definitely one of the best DBC’s I’ve watched My cheeks are going to sue me for workers compensation because they were injured from laughing so much 😂

That was some great Saturday night short track stuff. That’s what we need more of.

We'll never know know the true thought process of Nascar officials in their decision to suspend Josh Williams. I'm speculating that they did it out of spite due to the support he got for it. They wanted to "make an example out of him" because someone's ego got hurt.

Great now i have a new podcast to binge lmao I love it

SAME! Best DBC in a while. I said, Oh that’s him, he’s on DBC! And then didn’t stop laughing for 10 minutes.

A brief moment in time can change your life in an instant.

This does feel like a thing someone might do in the older days of the sport. Remember when Dale Sir. cleaned his own windshield mid race by just sitting on the door driving with one hand and using a rag to clean the window with the other? . Or when Sterling Marlin got out of his car on a red flag to fix the fender.

Nascar would not have parked the car had a star been in that position.

Is what he did right? Of course not. But, it is bringing attention to a rule that maybe a) shouldn’t exist or 2) be used with some consistency. Car lose parts and pieces during races every week, but this is the first time that I can remember someone was parked for losing a piece of bearbond or anything for that matter.

Possibly top ten of DBC ever...and where can I get a Josh signed "You can't Park Here" shirt? Historic.

NASCRAP thinks that they can just push those smaller teams around. They thought that they'd send him behind the wall and none of us would notice, because that just happens with cars towards the back sometimes. NASCRAP would NEVER do this to a big name team, because we'd all notice one of those cars going to the garage for no damn reason. Differential enforcement. I'm glad that Josh did what he did.

Was there a no parking sign that I missed where Josh parked? I went through the Nascar rule book and it says nothing about parking on the front stretch. So if it is not in the rule book it shouldn't be a punishable offense.

This was one of the best DBC's in a while! Josh comes off really genuine, and I like his thought process! New fan for sure!

He’s a great kid with a big heart. I know him personally. He and Bubba grew up racing go carts together as best friends down here in Florida.

For the Infield Care Center thing, I'm pretty sure that's just a rule that all drivers must visit it if they get out of the car anywhere besides pit road. Incidentally I thought I remember this is why Bowman's concussion was NOT caught immediately, because he kept driving after his crash, and finished the race. No care center required, so they didn't test him right away.

First time I've watched this podcast all the way through. Good show.

Nascar needs more of this

Nascar's penalty for "extended a caution" is excessive. Hold the car in the pits for a lap or two or five instead. Getting DQed after all the time & work teams put into a race weekend is just too much. Oh and much Kudos to Josh for making his beef with Nascar public the way he did. Well played, sir. Well played.

One of the greatest moves ever in NASCAR. He did what most drivers only dream about. This was one of the biggest bullshish moves NASCAR has ever done. Hopefully this guy gets more sponsors and tv time because he's made a whole lotta fans. Me included.

Josh is a good guy, great intentions. Don't think the move was the best move to make, but the way he explained it, it seems a lot better than what it looked like on the outside. Most people are making it out to be he's sticking it to NASCAR, which really wasn't the case. Just a lot of confusion and probably some frustration so he parked it on the track. The rules are the rules, though, and the DVP is part of those rules. Josh parking it on the front stretch was 20 times further and different than what Mason Diaz did in Florence. Diaz was in the wrong, throwing a hissy fit. Josh didn't know what the hell was going on and just turned it off and got out.

I saw Tommy Ellis park his Late Model Sportsman at the start/finish line at Southside Speedway one night and stood on the hood and dared them to move it! Held up the race for about an hour. Also saw a Grand Stock driver park his car at the line one night, got out, flicked two birds to the control tower, then walked back to the pits with his steering wheel.

Ballsie move dude....maybe not your smartest move, but NASCAR needs to be fair and consistent, not arbitrary. Short term, you'll pay the price. Long term, merch sales and popularity thru the moon. I know I'm a fan know!!! Good luck man.

Great time to reference Tommy Ellis parking Don Beverley Busch car at Richmond and quitting. He found out he wasn't being brought back the following season so he parked it and said I quit.

If the racing did not suck cuz they have turned it into IROC this would not even be an issue. But when the best thing that happened is a funny parked car on the front stretch the sport has died!

Williams at best runs top 10 this has done more for his career and dgm than if he won

When you watch a video like this , it just shows how EFed up Nascrap really is. Nascar is losing people going to tracks already and this is more justification why more and more people are doing other things.

Welp, haven’t really watched NASCAR in years outside of the last 50 or so laps of the big races, but this dude may just have me watching on saturdays now.

Josh, I've known you for a number of years in the ARCA series. This does seem out of character for you but it certainly was great for your sponsor. I'm sue the Joyce Julius numbers were up dramatically. At the end of the day it was probably good for everyone concerned and nobody got hurt. I just want to know if someone paid your fine like they said they were going to.
