@@BelowTheApron problem with the "rule book" as we have always seen it is selectively enforced. You can bet if this was Chase Elliot, they wouldn't have said anything about it. Just like the no pass below yellow line at daytona/degga always selective in enforcement.

Never heard of the guy before today...think he's going to gain some fans. Wish he would have made the excuse that he didn't want to clutter the track any further so he just stopped it there

He made it fun👍❤️😀 Did what he was told. Reminded me of the old days when NASCAR was fun. Reminded me of a young Harvick and Smoke and when places like Bristol was fun. We'll be talking about Josh for years❤️👍

Overall, yes, he's always been a very humble guy. He does a lot of charity work too.

I didnt need another reason to pull for Josh Williams, but I was given one anyway.

On a serious note, NASCAR needs to get rid of its damaged vehicle policy. All they had to do was get rid of "Boys Have at It," and they wouldn't have to counteract it with like a hundred BS rules.

I think the better question is if NASCAR regrets what they did haha

This man just did a solid for CoolRay, nascar, and mullets everywhere.

Josh Williams was told to park and he did. Loved it. Thought it was brilliant and funny. He handled himself very well. Got a new driver to root for now.

Maybe Nascar should supply products to fix cars that actually stick and don’t blow off in cool weather. He’s being penalized because of their product.

Nascar lost its way a long time ago. Notice that there is a lack of paying fans. Back in the day (1960's/1970's) the cars actually resembled real cars. Not the crap they call a "Stock Car" today. Love this guy for taking a stand.

So I guess Nascar has set a new precedent, any car that causes a debri caution is to be parked.

Nascar don't want small teams in nascar ! A friend of mine tried to run at charlotte and inspection picked that car to death . He finally told them to stick it where the sun don't shine and went home !

Was cool to see the full interview. What he did only exacerbated NASCARs point. I get him being upset but you wont prove your point to NASCAR like that nor should you. He really wasn't fully respecting the sport that he loves by doing that but as a small team/driver if he would have went to NASCAR to talk to them all they would have said was its in the rule book Josh. Maybe now they have some more understanding on both sides. Nothing not to like about Josh Williams though. Funny how Logano was putting him over as all this happened at the same time.
