I think the Denny outside the race car in one hell of a guy and a smart dude. I think he's going to be an excellent NASCAR car owner. I really like Tyler Redick. I hope he gives him top tier equipment to drive.

I find myself going from disliking him to laughing right along with him. He honestly makes it hard not to like him! And I'm a fan of Reddick too! So I hope he does well with 2311.

@@CorgiButtOnWheels we see this with a lot of athletes in many professional sports. When they get away from the game, they give to charity, help out, very nice exc. They have their own personality though when playing their sport. You don't have to like Denny the driver, but he's a hell of a good dude away from the track. Go see my story about what he did for my best friends daughter, at her first NASCAR race. I didn't believe her, until she showed me the picture and autograph. It hit me how we judge people based on a two minute interview we see, after these guys have worked their A$$ off, driving 500 miles on a hot day.

@@jamiethornton6101 You are 110% right! I was a Make-A-Wish kid back in the early 2000's. meeting Jeff Gordon as he was my hero growing up. (There's a really long story about how I nearly died on my first attempt to meet him!) But in that trip, I got the chance to meet other drivers as well. Just by being at the right place at the right time. These guys are class acts and I think I know that deep down. Sometimes our own personal biases as a fan cloud that.

I just want to share what I think is an awesome Denny Hamlin story at the track. My best friends daughter is a huge NASCAR fan and she was a big fan of another driver. She's special needs so you can imagine the day her family got to take her to a NASCAR race and had a garage pass. They thought she was going to meet that driver. Well, sure enough he comes walking past them. She's smiling (doesn't do that a lot) and waving. They were saying hi, hey (name of driver, but I wont name him). He walked right by them, like six feet away and kept going. Didn't even say hi. Totally ignored them. She was crying so bad and so upset. Her family was trying to comfort her. Denny Hamlin comes walking past minutes later and stops. Asking what's wrong, they told him what's going on. He put his arm around her and told her everything was going to be okay. Took a picture with her and signed an autograph. He told her thanks for being a NASCAR fan and how much it means to all the drivers out here, that she watches every Sunday. The funny thing is when they got back, my best friend told me that her husband started crying after that, because it changed his daughters entire experience at the track. And as an old Bill Elliott and now Chase Elliott fan, he had no like for Denny. As you can imagine she's now a Denny Hamlin fan. But the fact he took five minutes out of his day to make her day better, says a lot. I'm not saying Denny is a saint. Nobody is perfect. But he made a difference in that girls life.

im in the sport....and the absolute best part of being in auto racing or any sport, is the fans and especially kids. I see a kid come say hi or come see the car or take a photo by the car and i always ask them if they want to sit in the race car or show car....and their eyes light up !! That is the best part !

There's a lot about Denny's driving choices and even some of his personal life choices I could never agree with in a million years. BUT You have to respect how he can take criticism on the chin and have fun with it. That does take a certain strength that not everyone possesses.

Denny is such a funny guy. People needs someone to hate. Since Kyle Bush is doing nothing worth hating like winning or talking what he thinks. It had that act with Joe Gibbs, but it was a small hate compared to what he is used to. I may or may not agree with everything that Denny has done on track or said but doesn't make him a bad person. Denny explains the business behind NASCAR without telling all the details that NASCAR themselves and sponsors don't want to be shared but still make you understand how it works, better than anyone else so far. Again, people just need someone to hate.

Denny is the best. He was chillin with Ross on the track this week too! 😂 Denny cares about this sport, and he shows it. Netflix, podcasting, social media content, etc. He may not have the championships as others, but he is so important to the sport today. More than any active champion.

is it just me or is it odd that Denny Hamlin has more wins than Mark Martin, Bill Elliott, and about to pass Tony Stewart. That's crazy to me. Mark Martin was so good and had some seasons where he had crazy amount of wins. Bill Elliott for that matter. Denny how put some very impressive numbers up in only 600 races. But it's like it doesn't register or feel like he's won that many. Maybe it's just me.

Thanks guys for these awesome shows, this Ross and Denny deal is awesome, if Ross would just delay his bonsai run by 1or 2 seconds, he probably would get the pass done without incident. I think Denny is handling it with class, and he's never been one of my favorite drivers but I think his perspective as a car owner has made him more analytical and much more relatable. When he used up the track and Ross was he'll bent to pass him was classic and the best move he could have made.

He says it doesn’t offend him that he’s the modern day Mark Martin, I don’t fully believe that.

As a customer of both FedEx and UPS, I'll stick with UPS.... at least my packages arrive on time and unopened.....unlike FedEx where they regularly get lost for multiple days and arrive in boxes that look like they were hand carried through a combat zone.....

People take Hamlin way to maliciously and I really don’t get it. What do you expect someone to do if they constantly get wrecked by a guy. Even with the chase Elliot deal if he doesn’t make that move in 2017 playoffs where he wrecked him he didn’t think he could point his way in. And after chase got him back he even apologized for the way he raced him the previous week. Even with the incident with Bowman last year it’s not like hamlin was racing him super dirty for the lead. If people would actually stop booing and actual listen to what he has to say in his interviews he doesn’t come off and malicious or even a guy that whines go look at the incidents he’s in and he honestly has a solid reason for why he feels the way he does..

Kyle's issue is sponsorship. Hamlin has had the same primary sponsor for his entire career and FedEx has shown no intent to back out yet.
