For a moment there we thought Mummy Isabelle was going to have yet another set of kittens when Stephanie precariously manoevoured the dumper truck with soil.... Oh, and, love the yellow wellies!

The drone footage at the end of the tractor go round, was hilarious! 🤣😂🤣😂 Dan, You’re too hard on Stephanie! Look at what she accomplished with you, teacher. I know you’re just rubbing her. That was so enjoyable to watch. Laughed my butt off. My hubby always used old fence,few concrete blocks, etc. for smoothing. We ran a 120+ acre Youthcamp. We had multiple High School Band Camps, so the ground had to be pristine to prevent injuries. The pesky moles created problems.

I love that Stephanie tries to to do something in every area! That and she attracts really good people, talented people, to be part of her adventure!

Love how the courtyard is really growing “up” and I can’t wait to see the garden around the chapel do exactly the same!

While my “wellness check” today wasn’t exactly life-shattering, it was life-changing. So coming home to the humor that is Lalande was particularly welcome. I’m not alone when I say that this channel lowers blood pressure and brings an amount of calm to one’s soul. Thank you for that. ❤️

Stefanie…you and Dan have a good working relationship, which is so important. I have to say I jumped when the Dumper almost drove away, but Dan quickly stopped it. The both of you are hilarious together, stay spontaneous. Dan..great improvisation on the gate/fence with the heavy thinks on top, all that matters is, it worked! What’s even better, you can laugh about it.

I've decided that I really like Cyril the chef. I think it's a combination of his accent, how he describes the dishes on his menu, his dreadlocks and his mannerisms. He just makes me smile each time I see him; he reminds me of a French character I once saw in a movie.

That was absolutely brilliant - I didnt stop smiling and giggling at you & Dan's garden escapades

I love the Chateau, but there is just something extra special about that chapel. I am not religious but it is a special beautiful space. Fascinating history of the place.

I am SO glad you have a high level of self preservation on that dumper! One would hope there are extra angels on duty overseeing the work so close to the chapel. 🤣😇 So nice to see Michael Potts and Micah again and Philip happy with his performance. He has a beautiful voice. And it looks like the non-chef, non-gardener ended his stressful day with a fantastic dinner and drinks, and with lovely guests who were there, so alls well that ends well. 😘 🥰

Stephanie, the moles and voles have turned our lawn into a landmine of dirt piles. When my husband tries to mow with those dirt mounds, he gets lost in a sea of black dirt, and he gets covered in it too! So, he took a piece of metal fencing, added heavy rocks, and tied it to the back of the riding mower. Now the lawn is smooth and can actually be mowed without looking like Mount Vesuvius erupting out of the ground, and swallowing my husband whole! Necessity is the mother of invention after all. 😆

I live in New York, and made friends with a couple from the Netherlands while in Walt Disney World many years ago. We keep in touch via Facebook, and how surprised I was when they posted that they had seen the play "Lelies" in Amsterdam! Their names are Henk & Peter. It's a small world after all!

I love Philip's singing voice. I wish we could hear more of him singing, please. Stefanie left the digger in gear. I started a car of mine decades ago after the car shop worked on it and parked it immediately infront of a telephone pole. Yes, I started it without my foot on the clutch and dug the front bumper into my front tires!. The menu sounds delicious. I love roast port. Local, happy pork sound so much better than the commercial farms who live miserable lives. Love the audible french. It would very helpful with my accent and learning a bit of the language. Please keep some in each vlog, please!
