Triumph Bonneville T100 Black - Arton Works Vintage Racing Gauge Faces

Музыка

My channel's 13th anniversary was about a week ago but I was too busy to record anything and didn't have anything ready to go so this is my anniversary video.
In this video, I install something really cool. I replace the speedo/tach gauge faces and I think they look so much better than stock.
You know, little details like this really do add to the overall aesthetic of the bike. In fact, that's kinda a part of the theme of my bike, "stock but not." Top case and saddlebags notwithstanding, a quick glance at Mystletainn and one would get the impression that it's a completely stock bike. But upon closer inspection, you'd see all the changes; like the black intake covers or the different engine badges. There was also this one time a few weeks ago, I went out riding to do some errands and within the span of 10 minutes, I had three different people compliment Mystletainn.
Non-sponsored shout outs to Arton Works for making these beauties and A&J Cycles out of Hillburn, NY for stocking them and being an all-around great place to get Bonnie parts.

Very Helpful video. I just installed these gauge faces on my 2002 T100. I have no windscreen. I did not have to open up the headlight, just undid the holder and let it sag down. Towel on the front fender to be sure no damage. This gave me full access to the necessary bolts to remove the "dashboard."

Nicely done - getting ready to do my new to me 2019 Speed Twin. The stock faces on the T100 are not nearly as fugly as the the stock Speed Twin's - it's a must do! Thanks again, gives me the confidence to proceed.

With your video, it was about a 30 minute job. I used Trek Bicycle plastic tire irons to gently pry up the needles and a playing card to break the adhesive behind the stock faces. The adhesive is mostly in the area of the LCD screens. It's not a difficult job, and again thanks for showing us how to do it.

An Update: I tried really hard to like these faces. They look way better, 100% - but if you live somewhere sunny (So Cal), I got tired of not being able to see my high beam, turn signal, neutral, and low fuel dash lights. The people in Italy are great & tried to help, but ultimately I just did not need another thing to think about (High beam on, or off?, Did I cancel that signal? 🤔) and put the stock faces back on. If you live somewhere that gets little sun, or only ride at night, they're perfect. Otherwise, they're just a big distraction from my riding experience.

Nice mod. I like more those than the stock gauge faces. Km/h or mph? Happy holidays

Happy holidays to you too! Arton Works is based in Italy so they stock both MPH and KPH versions. The shop I got them from is based in the US, they only carry the MPH version.

Which metal bracket are you referring to? Is it the bracket that the dashboard is screwed to like at 4:51? If it is, that bracket doesn't need to be removed. It's still in place at 5:51.
