Accessories Part 4 | Fitting new dials from Arton Works to the Triumph Speed Twin

Ойын-сауық

If you find the standard dials on your Triumph Speed Twin too fussy and want a change, then try the replacement dials from Italian Company Arton Works.
www.artonworks.com/en/prodott...
They do dials for the following Triumphs
T100 / T120
THRUXTON 1200 / R / RS
SPEED TWIN
STREET CUP
Not cheap, approx £75 plus postage, for 2 bits of circular plastic, but they do compliment the bike very well and give it a more "classic"look in my humble opinion and are much easier to read that the bikes oem dials. Only 1 issue I found was that in bright sunlight the warning lights aren't that visible ...but glad I purchased them as they look great and much clearer to read.
45-60 minutes to fit
Here's how to fit them

Totally agree, massive improvement. Originals look like some sort of homage to a 1980's midi hifi system. Triumph need to learn from this.

You alerted us that the gs heads weren't symmetrical so would have thought the inconsistency of the different font size on both dials would be a head wrecker 😅

Great video - I followed your instructions to the letter and the job went really well. Very pleased with the result on my T120. I paid the 96 Euro and also the import tax was about £26 so not a cheap mod but very pleased with the outcome.

Thanks, tail itty just waiting to go on next, but very busy editing. Make sure you check that you don't leave the indicators on, as in sunlight not too easy to see in the dash....😂

@@gsd32i Thanks, I blanked the daylight running light which is a bonus - the kit is very nice quality but your instructions should be mandatory watching prior to fitment, made life so much easier.

OMG This is the most stressful thing I've seen in months, I was holding my breath when you were popping off the needles 🙈 Looks so much better with the new background. Triumph are not good at designing 'clocks'!

I’d love less fussy faces on mine but these ‘d trip my OCD. There’s 11, sometimes 12 marks in between the 10,20,30mph numbers

😂 Iam a bit like that but these are way better looking than the OEM stuff. Just take a few deep breaths 😁

Did you happen to notice if it's possible to change the glass while it was off? Cos I've managed to crack one of mine.

Hi Kevin, gotta say I can't remember as it came off in one unit. Not sure if you can get just the top section which contains the glass. Rather expensive at £800 for a new unit1 Gulp!!!

Nice but a shame the numbers are not the same size on each dial.

Those clock faces look much nicer. The OEM clock faces look far too busy.

Had them on for a little while now and I think they are way better than the OEM's.
