The silver tank stripe looks original. I would definitely keep the silver stripe. As for me, the clock dial upgrade just “fits” the Speed Twin, the tidy tale is nice, along with the black chain guard and the carbon fiber bits. The radiator guard is a necessity. You certainly picked a nice one. I’ve never thought to add a sticker to locate the air valve! This alone is simple, but ingenious. Most all of your simple changes are indeed fitting. Thanks for the overview.

Good information. I can say without equivocation, over time all tank bags scratch the tank, and the magnetic ones are the worst. Over their life, the magnets will pick up microscopic bits of metal, and scratch more. I'm currently looking into getting two tanks vinyl wrapped because of tank bag scratches.

Motone Customs use high quality 3M pads and they stick just fine, but beware of cheap Chinese knock-offs. Wipe the tank area down with some isopropyl alcohol first and let it dry thoroughly for a couple of minutes. Then, once you have put the pads on, try to fix a bungee cord or similar to press them firmly to the tank for 24hrs. All this may not be necessary, but it's what I did just to be extra sure and they are fine :)

Very tasteful and stealthy all round there, I like it very much, particularly the clocks. I like the silver stripe and think it suits the bike better though I didn't dislike the yellow. Do the tail bags fit securely ? as I am always looking at them to fit the role of the awful plastic box to fit chains, locks and whatnot in that we need in UK. I would try find a black rear rack/handrail rather than refit the strap over the seat if you need to provide that function to pass inspections... Thanks for watching the other videos. I agree the options are a bit limited: I think I'd probably go with the gloss black, which is a good base for any subsequent customisation. I wouldn't have bothered with the carbon black if I'd already got the gloss black, for example. I'm not a fan of the red or the orange, either.
