Do you know where that barrel could be bought? I got some from triumph but it doesn't have the treaded part to bolt on case
I think they come with the locks you can order from Givi. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Triumph's adventure hard cases are rebranded Givis.
@@MobiusT100 ILL look on givis site, thanks
No lo puedo creer Ahora la canción de la familia Dango daikazoku cuenta con una versión de orquesta sinfónica? Ahora me iré a llorar a un rincón Con permiso Saludos desde Santa Cruz Bolivia
I made the same mistake with the ear cup things too.
Very Helpful video. I just installed these gauge faces on my 2002 T100. I have no windscreen. I did not have to open up the headlight, just undid the holder and let it sag down. Towel on the front fender to be sure no damage. This gave me full access to the necessary bolts to remove the "dashboard."
Great content! Useful! Thanks
so the 45mm jbl speakers fit?
Hi , been looking at Givi panniers for my T120. You ever take a pillion on the back ?. If so, any issues with the panniers ..ie enough leg room for the passenger.? Thanks .
I haven't had a pillion but I have sat on the rear seat and I have no issues with my legs hitting the boxes, and I'm only about 5'2" (157cm)
Great informative content, Thank you
Great informative content, Thank you
Just bought this helmet, do you jus push the chin curtain in? Are there clips or pins? Thanks great video.
You just push the chin curtain in, it's held in place by tabs.
@@MobiusT100 Thanks man
Bro can this be installed on the speed twin..
Probably not. I'm not sure if Triumph makes a cruise control kit for the Speed Twin.
@@MobiusT100 thankyou..safe rides
Does it fit a full face helmet?
My Shoei RF-1400 fits with plenty of room to spare. Givi's brochure says it can fit two modular helmets.
I guess you can also switch the panniers on the opposite side of each other and then they will open in the other direction from the front instead from the back of the bike :)
Yo Man! I was wondering if you still have access to the Contra-Alto Clarinet, Tenor Sax, and Bass Clarinet parts in your cover of Toki Wo Kizamu Uta?
Unfortunately, the parts have gotten lost in the last 10 years and at least three computer changes.
That case looks way too big for my taste, maybe the 44 litre model would be a better fit.
This sounds amazing! ❤
Perfectly nails the illusive combination of gorgeous classic cool and practicality. Anything less practical of a bike is just an expensive toy IMHO. I think My Royal Enfield INT650 w/E22N plastic Monokey cases is at least 91% as cool as Mystletainn, but yeah, these cases can make lane splitting slightly scarier :)
Cool video can you tell me what the overall width is with the side cases on please
Overall width with the sidecases is about 37in/98cm.
Look really nice in black suit the bike just right I’d like to know how wide they are when on the bike ,
What rear support did you use to install the givi 56 liter alaska top case?
I have the Givi E251 Universal Monokey Plate attached to the Triumph Black Rear Grab Rail and Rack (A9758031).
I’ve been looking for one for that Triumph headlight guard you have (saw it on another video). Can you tell me where you got that one?
I think I got it from the official Triumph online store.
The thumbnail is threatening music notation
with all those top cases and side cases does t100 wobble?
Only if you load them unevenly
Could you please comment on the Low Comfort Seat? How much lower is it than the stock seat? How is its comfort on a long ride versus stock seat? This would be very helpful to a lot of people as there is very little info out there on the low version of this factory upgrade seat. Great video on the cruise control!
it's amazing !
Really beautiful detail. My polished Union Jack and contrasting black one arrived yesterday. Looking fwd to putting it on my ST900!
I have the Motone Peerless black gauge cover on my 2022 T120 black and It's great.....no glare from the sun! It's plastic and no rattles! Mine cost $69.99.
It's quite fun to see and hear the daily life of foreigner (from my point of view, as a Korean) along with the bike road view. Have a good day man
As someone who hasn't seen Hololive but only aware of it, I never thought I'd come across them while looking for information about Triumph. 🤣 I was worried that the 3 boxes would look odd in proportion to Bonneville, but it doesn't look bad from the video.
Informative!
EDIT: Tried the Cardo Freecom 2X. Fits good. Only thing on the helmet I had to change was removing the thick foam spacers from the ear pads that fill the ear wells in the helmet. No big deal.
Your music selection sounds like an 80s soft core porno music. Or my dentist/doctors waiting room music
I really wanted to watch this but just could not get to the end with all that overpowering music.
Any power gains?
As is the case with most slip-ons, I don't think there are any noticeable changes in power after replacing just the stock exhausts. That being said, I did also add in an X-pipe, changed the camshaft, and got a custom tune. I haven't been able to get the bike on a dyno yet so I don't have numbers, but it feels more powerful now.
Those speakers are round vs some Cardo JBL which are not round. Interesting.
Thank you, it's always emotional for me to hear "Dango Daikazoku". We, fans of "Clannad", are one big family!
Great video. Very useful. Thanks a bunch
Is there anywhere to get sheet music for this lovely arrangement?
Looks boss. I have a T120 and have been eyeing this cap. How's it held up for you? Any issues that would make you hesitate to buy it again?
In the 2 and a half years I've had it on the bike, I haven't had any major issues with this gas cap. My biggest complaints are aesthetic. For example, because there's a bit of a lip in the Bonneville's filler port, the cap doesn't sit completely flush against the tank. Functionally, this isn't a problem because the there's a gasket between the cap and the lip of the port. It just looks a little inelegant. I've also come to realize that the matte black parts don't exactly mesh with the gloss black of the tank. If I were to buy another cap (and I just might at some point), I'd get the polished chrome.
@@MobiusT100 Awesome, thanks for the reply! My bike is the regular trim with the red tank, so polished was going to be my choice anyway. I think I can live with the little gap if it means not having to deal with the hassle of the stock cap at every fillup.
What speakers did you install the 45mm JBL ones? The speakers I have are tear drop shaped and they don't fit inside the recessed holes.
I used the round speakers that came with the Cardo audio/mic kit.
How did you install the speakers? You had some blue tape? Did you leave in the Shoei foam piece with the 3 "click" pieces that go in to the holes or remove that?
The foam pieces have to be removed, as they fill in the cavities that the speakers go in. The speakers themselves are held in place using those velcro squares that came with the headset. Be warned, they don't do a great job keeping the speakers in the cavities, as the speakers are a little too big to perfectly fit. They hold, but it's easy to get them to come off. Luckily they don't move when I'm putting on or taking off the helmet.
@@MobiusT100 Thanks for the note. I'm going to work on refining my set-up. Appreciate the advice.
Glad I could help. As a side note, these are the 40mm speakers that came with the headset. The 45mm JBL speakers that Cardo also offers definitely will not fit in the RF-1400's speaker cavities.
That was my question, I have FOX Shocks with res as well British Custom slip on cones which turn upward approx an inch from the direct straight line the stock pipes run. Is there spacing of the rack that sits the cases out enough to clear? Thanks.
There is about 4 inches between the bottom of the case and the highest point of my Vance & Hines pipes. There is also and about 5 inches between the bottom of the sidecase mounting rail highest point of the muffler. Additionally, the mounting rails extend out about 2 inches, so there is room for the rear shocks. The bottom of the case sits about 3 inches away horizontally from the muffler. Hope this helps.
I have the British Custom cones, the cones slip on and point upward about an inch. It looks like the cases sit wide, outside the area of the exhaust pipes so I am thinking that I won't need to be concerned about my pipes hitting the bottom of the cases if I install. thoughts? Thanks so much.
Do the cases sit on the outer part of the exhaust? Reason I ask, I have British Customs slip on cones and the cones point upward maybe an inch, inch and half. Like the pipes on a Truxton. I was concerned the cones would hit the bottom of the cases. Looking forward to what you think. Thanks.
can anybody tell me where i can buy it
What clock and thermomether do you have on your right side of handle bar?
The clock is the Oxford Analog Clock that can be found online (I think I ordered it from CycleGear). The temperature gauge is the Triumph Analog Air Temperature Gauge (A9828029). Triumph made a matching analog air temp gauge and analog clock but they were only ever listed on the Triumph store as for the Bobber, so I only happened upon it by chance. It seems they were discontinued a few years ago, which makes finding either difficult now. It's a shame, really, because it would have been nice to have a matching set.
Super nice video. I'm looking at the 44L size.
But the original Bonneville rack has only 3,5 kg carrying capacity. And the top case you installed on it has twice the weight at least. Did you make a longer trip with this setup? How did it cope? All fine?
I haven't had issues with the top case or the rack. The rack seems to be fairly sturdy, attached by four bolts to the mounting rail, which is itself mounted directly to the frame. I'm of the opinion that Triumph intentionally sets lower weight limits in order to protect themselves from lawsuits that might arise from someone seriously overloading the rack. Kind of like how they state that a motorcycle that has any kind of accessory attached to it should never be ridden over 130kph.
did you had any wobbling at the handle bars when both hands were taken off at low speeds ?
Do you need to remove those silencers to adjust chain?
Unfortunately, yes, both silencers need to be removed to do any sort of work with the rear wheel. It's one of my bigger gripes with the bike, but I put up with it because I absolutely love the look.
What anime is this?
