Thanks a lot. Both are great trucks. I started the hobby originally with nitro. Once I got back into it with lipo batteries I could never go back. For me anyway.

Traxxas will last longer I think. Outcast is fun but will snap chassis in half quick if you jump to high.

Outcast sold to me here over the pond in the UK, thanks mate, great informative video for sure 👌🏼

Great Comparison video there buddy , Ive purchased the outcast and got to say i adore it ! , Such a nimble truck for its size . Would like to swap the sput gear out for a center diff if i had chance mind. the thing is with the outcast it keeps you on your toes and you have to drive it and i like that , it does what my big rock does and tons more and thats a good thing . Stay awesome Chris :)

Just remember, if you’re driving in the cold, you have to land it, no ifs ands or butts about it

Man this is a hard choice if you ask me. I have a bunch of traxxas cars mostly 1/10 scale and 4 arrma cars 1 1/8 and 3 1/5 scale. I just bought a outcast 8s exb and was going to buy an x maxx. I wish traxxas would listen to the ppl and offer a roller like the exb. Traxxas has alot of potential but I can do a full exb build with lost of mods for a couple hundred dollars more than the xmaxx rtr.

I like my Maxx V2, but I keep breaking upper and lower bulkheads all the time under any weather conditions.

Also to you feel like the maxx is a good car after the castle swap? I have never been a fan of traxxas esc and motor combo's but that just my opinion.

Yeah the maxx is a solid truck. I will at some point put a different motor and esc in though.

Couldn’t decide between the Maxx V2 or kraton 4s. I run mainly Traxxas nitro these days but wanted at least one electric. I got both so will be fun to see which holds up better over time

I -ick the outcast also! I feel like Traxxas is more of an old man Rc car I mean the way it drives, turning sucks, harder to work on.

In my opinion , the outcast takes the cake easily .

Is it still a dodge if it doesn’t have a Cummins? That’s not a traxxas maxx you can’t compare castle to Arrma, castle will kick ass all day long

Might be sacrilegious, but I have 4 Arrma's and no Max's and I just bought a Notorious, shrug. I'm pretty happy with Arrma, 😏 lol... I know - I'm a "hater"... someday I'll buy a Max and "maybe" I'll change my opinion...

nothing wrong with arrma. sometimes we just like something. The maxx is good but so is the outcast
